  1. Top 4 finishes Goodwin 1 Bevo 0
  2. I’ve had a shot every time Brayshaw said Mitts, Dukes or Wheels. needless to say I’m hammered
  3. Dogs with one goal since 10 mins into the first Q
  4. Why do the school teachers, sorry I mean umpires yell at players to ‘leave the area’ when their team has the mark???
  5. good point. The dogs could have put in Martin tonight but maybe they want him cherry ripe for finals? English is very good fwd so they should be desperate to get another ruck in. I'm a little surprised Schache didn't come back in down back too. Port have been in good form but if the dogs mids fire and the Bont dominates, they will win
  6. no idea. for some reason I have never needed to be aware of such information! 😂 I would assume the top team would not be disadvantaged by a 6 day break
  7. I think the dogs will win in a close one tonight. can't see them losing 3 on the trot. Dunkley and Treloar all back now, their midfield will fire It's a pity that these two teams get an extra days break before finals as it should have been us (assuming we finish first). I assume we will be playing next Sat night
  8. You have to feel for Teague. The bloke's replacement has been all but made and he is still in the job! The blues need to rip the bandaid off and sack him. let him leave with some dignity intact
  9. Umm get the Tigers just make 10 changes??!!
  10. Fantastic to have 3 leaders back. the team looks excellent with a great mix of youth and experience and some good pace. harmes, Smith, sparrow will be needing to put in good performances to stay in next week
  11. Looks better than Hibbo on Rohan. He’s get carved up for pace
  12. Smith is a bit stiff but at least we have a capable player there that has played, in case a defender goes down. real tough having ready to go fill ins with no VFL
  13. Would Cats have nothing to play for if Dogs win? Playing dogs or port in a neutral venue. Perhaps they fancy one over the other
  14. Our track record is not good though is it? anyway, I’m not dealing with it well today. I’ll stop posting on this thread in case I’m dragging others down too.
  15. yep NSW will go from terrible to disastrous soon. almost impossible for Vic to remain covid free whilst this is the case
  16. I did read the story behind the cases and it's not great. I was hoping to be down in single figures. We have no chance of getting out of lockdown on 2nd Sept. keep your head in the sand if you like
  17. 57 cases. Won’t be out of lockdown before GF you wouldn’t think. 😩😭
  18. You are missing something. We’re in a pandemic. Home ground advantage with zero crowds at the G is not a big advantage as evidenced by our record. Playing at a neutral venue it would be a sell out with quite a few demons fans.
  19. Zero chance man. I wish it wasn’t the case but we’ll be lockdown through Sept
  20. Is it true MFC has never won 17 or more in a season ever?? and the Hawks have done so 15 times? According to Swampthing sweet Jesus. We are having an all time season. One to remember and hopefully the start of something
  21. Certainly the teams that are getting screwed the most are the Swans and GWS. Haven’t played in Shydney since early June. Been on the road for months and it will continue. Has to take its toll
  22. If we finish top, we were the best and most consistent team all year. Doesn’t mean nothing to me
  23. they are all anti-vaxxers??
  24. Well Magner isn't there so it can't be that they all helped build East Link yeah that's my contribution to the thread. my brain stopped working 4 lockdowns ago
  25. I think I am in the minority here but I would prefer we play in front of a crowd over an empty MCG. Even if only a couple thousand MFC fans can see the game that is better than none. They got 60K for the neutral dreamtime game so I think a top 4 final would be a sell out in AO, Gabba or Optus. It is soulless watching us play to empty stadiums and hard for the players to get up, whether that is being spurred on by boos, or cheered on. Watching at home is hard enough, but having no crowds its like its not even real or happening. Anyway, that's my two cents
