People are often seduced by the number 1 draft pick. I’d much prefer 2 first rounders over the number 1 pick. Once one of the picks was within 7. the list of underperforming number 1 picks is long. Two picks increases the odds of grabbing at least one gun. i personally would not agree to the above trade

You are a fool. All he did was win a flag? Remember the Saints with their great list and Ross Lyon and others could not get it done. Stick the journey and Goody will deliver us at least one more flag. You know Yze was our midfield coach this year too yeah? You can’t credit him with helping us win the flag and then ignore that he was part of our coaching team this year too

I’d rate Hunt not as highly as Amon obviously but equivalent to a Tomlinson when we signed him. He was on 4 years and 400K back then I think

I reckon he was stiff and deserved to be selected. Deserved a spot in the 22 over Bowey for example (harsh on Bowey I know). almost played every game and was a big part of why we finished top

I know. But if it was a player that was a first 18 lock, he would have been brought in, eg, Salem. It was this decision that has lead to him wanting to leave imo. He has worked his [censored] off for years and in 2021 played a very good season only to not be selected. terrible luck getting injured late but he would still have been devastated. Can we really ask him to go hard again and again know that if we make a GF he is probably a 50-50 chance of playing?

Just to demonstrate how little run and carry Hunt gave us this year (at the direction of the coaches I'm sure) he had 6 running bounces for the whole year! 6! Spargo leads the way for us with an astounding 8 bounces. Man we were a tough watch this year I'll try to find some more depressing stats for y'all
