  1. Wow. What a photo. Thanks
  2. I'd be interested to know if the numbers follow the same criteria for each club. Are 3 game memberships included, pet memberships, etc.? The numbers for 11 game + memberships would be interesting to see but not sure if available. +note to George - Tigers also declined in numbers
  3. On Whitfield who was one of the Giants best on the day

For those saying 2nd round pick What would you accept if you were the Blues? He was pick 5, then traded 3 years ago for pick 6. Has had injuries but has played 53 games in 3 years at the Blues but with some good footy in 2023. We'd have to give up the equivalent of a pick between 14-18 I think. maybe pick 25 and F2? I reckon his best footy is ahead of him. Maybe if the Blues want a salary dump that could help us in negotiations Blues have pick 11 so Port would want a high 2nd rounder in addition you'd think
  5. Well Billings wasn't even there last year but he has been poor. Trade was worth a shot imo due to his talent but he doesn't have the mentality for AFL Hunter was brought in to play wing as Jordon wasn't doing very well in that position. And Hunter was pretty good in 2023
  6. True he was good in his debut season. But after that didn't kick on. Averaged 13 touches in his last season with us. He is a good role player in a top side though. I was probably being a but tough on him

I'd be keen on him. About to turn 25. Had a good season last year playing 22 games. Would be worth a late first rounder I'd guess Would add versatility to our midfield group
  8. Jordon hasn't shown he can play a role consistently well at AFL level aside from tagger. He has shown this at the Swans too. We don't use hard taggers every week so he leaves. Maybe we should start doing this but I think Goodwin doesn't favour it I personally have no angst over him doing well as a tagger with the Swans. Good on him

  10. Shand down mate
  11. it’s a measurement mate don’t blame the ruler
  12. you could well be right. But Walsh had a broader physique than Jagga does. Whitfield is the closest than cones to mind. Been a very good player but no midfield gun. Toumpas and O’Rourke also come to mind. I’d always go the big bodied mid with a very high pick
  13. It's looking like a bad year to have the number 1 pick (compared to other recent years) Skinny, small-shouldered guys are riskier. They may not develop or not be able to physically compete in the AFL. Weights can only do so much. I would not be picking Jagga if I was the Tigers

3 years left and he’s fallen off a cliff. Was a gun, one of the more surprising downfalls i’ve seen With libba getting on and Smith going you would think they would want to keep him. Such has been his decline Clear no from me
  15. Membrey is only 188cm so not really comparable to Wright *Apologies if I'm being overly pedantic I wouldn't mind us looking at him. We need more senior big bodies. Once he doesn't mind spending some time at Casey. I'd say he would be competing with Melksham/Fritsch/maybe Turner for a spot
  16. Good lord will this year from hell never end? Bloke can’t even get a gig at the Dogs FFS
  17. FYI Membrey is only 188cm agree he plays tall but he is a 3rd tall at best imo
  18. Dogs don't have enough TikTok followers He wants his ripped Abs to be seen by as many as possible
  19. This entire thread is. At the risk of sounding like an old fuddy duddy, I can't imagine ever having a Twitter or Instagram account and I think I'm all the better for it. The PR guys can do their thing for the youngsters but if watching football isn't enough for people then I don't get it Think I'll go shake my fist at a cloud now!
  20. When tiktok and instagram are a reason to think about moving club, something is very wrong This is Footy FFS
  21. Cats v Swans GF would be the worst
  22. luckily there are no gun teams at the moment so if any team in the top 14 gets everything right for 12 months you can win one First step is a low finish and a soft draw and players heading into surgery early
  23. Weird hey? almost like we rated him as the 23rd best player on the list at the time. Which I completely agree with. Who would you drop for him from the 2021 GF team? Obviously he would easily get a game these days with injuries, no Gus etc
  24. Carn the Blues!! 😂😂😂😂
  25. Jordon had 12 touches Tagged Whitfield who was very good then played a good last Q That is all. Jordon is a good solid player but he wanted to leave as he wasn’t getting a game get over it I would love to have the time to show all the quotes on here bagging him and begging for him to be dropped
