The issue McGovern has with the contract they’ve offered him isn’t the $ but the length, he apparently wants an extra year. We’re going to lose some experienced players over the next couple of seasons and don’t have many players in the mid-20’s age bracket who are best 22. For the right price and considering he is an RFA, Gaff would be ideal.

Gaff would be a great addition to our midfield, I’m not sure what B&F wins and Brownlow finishes has to do with this. Every club would love Jesse Hogan.

They can match the offer put forward by the rival club which could force a trade or the player going into the draft. I don’t think any team has matched an offer since the introduction of free agency though.
