Small man syndrome and ego are a bad combination. It’s not about ‘winning’ the trade it’s about coming up with a deal that is beneficial to both parties. That offer is quite possibly the worst thing Fremantle could have done.

McClure reckons Wingard is worth two first rounders (he’s nominated Hawthorn) whilst Hogan is worth one. How does this guy remember to breathe?

When the 15m goal square idea was floated about, I was going to post the exact idea which they’ve implemented. I then thought about it for a minute and came to the conclusion that there would then be no reason to have a goal square, so I didn’t post it as it ended up seeming a bit odd.

Nothing major from what I can see. Be interesting to see how the hands in the back rule is enforced. I imagine Ben Brown will be throwing himself forward even more now.
