Interesting twist of syntax there, not to mention completely misinterpreting what I wrote. FFS indeed.

I speak from bitter experience about the nature of 'factual evidence' when presented from the armchairs of people who smugly point the fingers at the misdeeds of 'others', especially if at some time in recent history the 'others' have been the subject of our white supremacist superiority complexes, E.G. the White Australian Policy, Two Wongs don't make a white, Made in China therefore inferior, etc etc. There is much misinformation about this virus already which has lead to the toilet paper hoarding pandemic, and, more than anything, absolutely nobody is totally sure about where this virus originates. That it broke out in Wuhan seems to be true. We know hardly anything else for sure which hasn't stopped certain members on this site telling us that it's because people in that region eat the heads off frogs, that they eat live bats etc etc etc. We live in a strange country in strange times. We live in a country where Credlin and Bolt and The Australian tell us that the horrendous bush fires were started by arsonists, that they had nothing to do with climate change, we live in a country where a member of Parliament tells her constituents and anyone who listens that men don't commit domestic violence, that it's all made up to deprive poor fathers of the custody of their children, we live in a country where an ex Prime Minister won't 'resile' from invading Iraq based on totally fictitious lies and propaganda. So call me a 'conspiracy theorist' if that is your wonton, I don't care. All I know for sure is that the media constantly lies to us, as does our Prime Minister. I also believe - because I try to use my brain - that most of the stuff we 'know' about Russia and China is bulldust. Furthermore, mention has been made of the way the Chinese treat their animals. Wow, this comes from the inhabitants of a country where the way sheep, cattle and horses have been treated in the Live Export saga should hang their bloody heads in shame rather than pointing at the finger at the way other countries treat their animals. I also add that China is a country of billions of people. That they have managed to stay pandemic free for so long ought to be lauded.

Sounds like the kind of propaganda which was once reserved for the Dreaded Communists. Unfortunately there are many here among us who believe everything we're told. What irks me is when this surrender to propaganda results in racial smears and the kind of idiotic posts I referred to above. The human species is prone to this need to have a scapegoat, someone to blame, someone called 'the other'.

Che? So running over the ball is a $2000 crime now?????
-
Yawohl, mein herr. So you run into a player, bump heads - $2 Grand. You punch a player but cos you're Hawthorn, $2 Grand.
-
Sicily copped the same fine for punching Neal- Bullen...
-
I suspect he's having an affair with Michael Christian.??✌??
-
Melksham was fined 2 grand for running into Scully. Once again, I can't see how this was reportable. It seemed they ran into each other. Sicily hits Neal Bullen, 2 grand.
-
Goodwin though noted this improvement became evident towards the latter half of last season.
-
The Marley /Richards case ought to show you and Sue that you can knock the [censored] out of a player, put him la la land and Christian looks the other way. Viney tackles Stratton, he lands on the turf, gets up and plays out the rest of the game with absolutely no consequences. The only way to counter any concussion issue is to totally ban tackling. That hasn't happened, you are still able to tackle, that's all Viney did.
-
One of the things I've taken out of this game is the intensity Il Signor Patracca has brought to his game. As far as I know nobody has mentioned his contribution last night but I simply felt awe at how much more he was involved. And Viney was fantastic. I have a funny feeling that if the Injury gods treat us right this year very good things can happen,
-
And so he should have been: he played great games for us.

Winning formulas all have their use by dates. It basically means your structure is dependant on players like Burgoyne, closer to 40 than 30...Last night's Hawthorn was not a pretty sight. Geelong is in the same boat: almost there, but it's been a while since they went further...

Some of Lever's disposal was awry as well. Let's look at the final result instead of nitpicking every nuance. In the old days you went to the footy and enjoyed the spectacle as a visceral once only performance. These days every time a player scratches his head band or puts a finger in one nasal aperture and lets boogs fly from the other it's not only on camera but on replay then for years on You Tube afterwards. It's an imperfect game...

Ah, dat's a new one: god was a jew????The one who gave Moses them 10 Don'ts?????The one who parted the Red Sea?????Now I get it why we're called the Chosen People!

You must be a genius. You may note, however, my reply was to Demonstone who commented on Matthews and his many assaults on Melbourne players.
-
Matthews regularly got away with it. I hated him and everything he and the 'He-Men' of Hawthorn stood for. They were bully boy thugs, endorsed by a culture which basically glorifies violence. I was at Princess Park on the infamous Steve Smith Assault day as well...
-
That was absolutely awesome. We've got the cattle, we've got the coaches, let's go.
-
WAS LISTED AS ONE OF THE BEST PLAYERS IN THE afl REPORT. GOOD ON HIM.
-
Not me: I really feel for him. He's taking one for the team.
-
He's never looked like a ruckman's bootlace to me.
-
He never was, he's a key forward, playing ruck because all our rucks are injured,
-
Precisely why I was so psissed off about the penalty to May this time last year.
-
Yankalilla?

Mr Pike would have come in handy too, young man.
