Dan Andrew hasn't locked down our state, Covid has.
-
Things could be worse. For example, my wife's book launch at La Mama was due on July the 17th. The lockdown started on the 15th. Her father's funeral is tomorrow. More than 50 people wanted to attend: the figure is now 10. Yet there are still morons who take the likes of Alan Jones and his ilk to heart and pretend this plague has to do with the infringements to OUR FREEDOMS.

Whether what Viney did was right or wrong is irrelevant. Selwood/Lynch/ Greene/ Buddy etc. etc. etc. get away with the same brutality repeatedly.
-
My problem with all of this is the sheer inconsistency of the so-called 'Tribunal's' decisions. There is definitely a case of what is good for the goose, is out of bounds for the gander. The history of the decisions handed out by these buffoons posturing as Pontius Pilate is staggering. There are too many instances of one law for certain protected species, another for the rest.

Just finished watching the game. Very impressed by Demon intensity but...: - Harmes and Viney need to learn to play within their limits. It may be too late for Viney... - Sparrow seems to be playing without confidence. I guess that might be a corollary of having to prove yourself every game.

Harmes got 1 Vote in the News report of the game!.

Done. Thanks...

Too bloody hot in summer - and too humid!!!

Freudian slap.

Explains a lot: I noticed his 'fumbles' last week, then there were the rumbles about his team mates verballing him a game or so ago. I wish him all the best. I recall a practice match in 2016, at Casey. He got thumped in a collision and came off the ground bleeding from his head. He sat in the box in interchange box in front of the stand, his head bandaged, and sitting right behind him was his mum.

Out on their arses is exactly where those lying tu.ds. belong.

Stick to darts, faulty, you might know what you're talking about. Wark Waugh, Bill Lawry, Ian Botham, Tony Greig, Michael Slater and many, many others might just be a wee bit more qualified than you and Daryl and Emerson to know about such matters.

You can watch the over in question on You Tube. Hair CANNOT have, I repeat, CANNOT watch a bowler's delivery from such close quarters. You have also ignored the evidence from the expensive tests to which he was subjected. Oh, yes, he was 'cleared' because of Sri lankas's influence. For the record, Mr F, I played Sub District cricket in Melbourne from the age of 14, I opened the bowling and the batting. I know a little about what "i'm talking about. Mark Waugh also doesn't agree with you; Also, it wasn't Hair who called the leg break, it was the other di..khead, Emerson. Listen to Mark Waugh....

Except for his 'ability' to call a 'chucker' from the bowler's end. Usually that's the Square leg umpire's' call. Also in question is his determination to call him even when he was bowling leggies so he could finish the over. Hair was an obsessed over-zealous zealot. He never, for the record, called Brett Lee...
-
You have bad memory, Mister F. Hair kept calling him from the bowler's end. Murali resorted to bowling Leggies. Hair still called him...
-
Darrell Hair was a racist copper. Say no more. How you can call someone from the umpire's end, how you can call a leg break - which is virtually impossible to 'chuck ' - without an 'agenda' simply proves my point.

You might run into trouble with 'calling' Muralitharan: he was cleared by the ICC because 'Due to an unusual hyperextension of his congenitally bent arm during delivery, his bowling action was called into question on a number of occasions by umpires and sections of the cricket community.[7] After biomechanical analysis under simulated playing conditions, Muralitharan's action was cleared by the International Cricket Council, first in 1996 and again in 1999.[4] Brett Lee threw more balls than Muri.

Which MFC player have you met personally?

Are you a Ky boy? -
ANB's work rate is exceptional but especially in the last half, his execution was second rate, shall we say. Still, what he lacks in 'class' he sure makes up by his sheer involvement and intensity.

Harmes seems down on confidence to me. He fumbled just about every opportunity he had last night: then again, I'm not privy to his 'role' so maybe he was just expected to just wrestle, fight and fossick and battle the scrums for his side, who knows? Neale- Bullen was another liability and just about all of his contributions were skew-if, just not clean enough for this level. He, like Harmes, have certainly had better days. These are more observations than 'criticism' , the observations of an 'alte kakka' who acknowledges he could not have done any better.

6: May 5: lever 4: Salem 3; Oliver 2: Petracca 1: Gawn. Brayshaw and Langdon and McDonald deserved a vote as well.

Good teams win the close ones.

I loved it even more when Zorko got reported and TMac smiled in his face and offered to pick him off the floor.
