Whats not discussed is our first 3 games at the G have been against GWS, GC & Freo with poor attendances and impacting on gate receipts, the AFL finds a way to dump on us.The finances of our club need to be considered sitting @ 0-5 & possible worse come Anzac eve!

Highlights how poor our list mgt is compared to the last 3 premiers who have bolstered their lists, we are dropping JVR & Fritsch & bringing in Fullerton who hasn’t been able to get a game since 2024! Goodwin strategy is mind boggling with a VFL bey drops Turner last week & doesn't play Fullerton & picks them this week?? He’s destroying JVR career playing him as a ruck, the young kid must be confused!

Time will tell but pies have topped up well with strengthening their fwd, compared to us trading vfl players

Tough decisions need to be made & the only way the club can attract any existing premiership coach is stability, a CEO in place, club can respect Goody & say thanks but need to change direction! Longmire is a strong figure and all about culture & trust with non negotiable, our club isn’t in rebuild mode with plenty of experience talent & better list mgt and tough calls to trade out players on long contracts. He’s having 12mths off and reckon he would want to jump back in 26 , sure he’s lost 5 gfs but a new but he would bring stability & experience.

Listening to Longmire he’s a nonsense yes his got baggage of 5 gf loses but the way he spoke on the front bar about the number 1 thing in a club is Trust! He’s strong culture building at the swans, I think he will be ready to coach in 26.

We have gone around in circles for a home base for decades , obsessed with being around the G why look at the Hawks nowhere near Glenferrie! Yes the redevelopment of their ground helps but it’s more than that, they top with good experience & development is string vs driving to Casey 50 minutes & training on a paddock

Wouldn’t say no to Bevo though similar outcomes from a team winning 1 flag and not capitalising.. Without a Ceo & a clear plan & vision why would Bevo or any exp coach come??would need more than just Bevo eg assistants no disrespect to Jones but are his credentials adequate? Our list mgt and inability to trade in experience talent in particular forwards what is the reason is it due to cap issues?

How has GWS re invented themselves, their great players lost form & game plan went to water under Cameron , Kingsley turned the ship around and lost a prelim by a missed free kick v the pies in 23, sure straight sets but their brand is great, they turn around Hogan why passed on him is beyond me vs BB with bung knees, watch Stringer turn it around but hey why would we want fwds

We will never know what the review unearthed, I have been calling out our inability to trade in quality exp fwds etc and unsure why they have never been linked to any names except for Houston, do they have cap space issues? Was playing Oliver in the seniors after missing preseason split the group? Question is why has it taken so long to appoint a CEO as he quit end of Oct???

It’s curtains for him! I’m sorry you don’t improve your list with VFL mature age players & no disrespect to them , consider who the pies, cats, lions, swans & hawks have traded in, his game plan is shot with zero defensive & contest, played with a fwd line of Jvr the only tall, this is comical!

Needed to be gone after the second straight sets exit! Why his contract was extended twice in 22/23 is beyond belief! He’s failed to adapt & implement a new game plan unwound all the defensive & contest , flip flop it lad year & coaches from the box then runs down to the boundary .. it’s shows he dosent have trust & second guessing… its more than him it’s the whole club no leadership, no ceo , president in waiting, back to amateurism

Have been in denial since the straight sets in 22, our trading in of older rejects has done nothing to improve our list, is list mgt or blind faith or have those long expensive contracts sucked up the cap we agreed to trac, Oliver , Viney , Brayshaw?? Has this fractured the group?? The whole club is in denial with no leadership

Great review! The writing has been on the wall, culture issues, a coach whose game has been flawed & failed to adapt! Our poor list management on not improving the list! Trying to turn defenders into fwds, the Grundy disaster, Who’s responsible for the unraveling of this list & the club back in the toilet with no CEO & fill in President!

Followed this club since 72 & member since 98, always find a way to fall of the cliff 0-5 , burn any decent players , implode off the field, and still no home base whilst the hawks have manage to build their second since 2000… a club going around in circles

Spot on, those big contracts can split the group & the restaurant debacle, cap issues no doubt impacting on trading in big names & losing players Jordan, Bedford etc we are a mess again interim president & CEO it’s a disgrace

A review was done, yet with Pert who’s no longer there! A club without a permanent President, CEO .. nothing against Green… but it’s time for Goody & a list mgt shake up … to have basically no talls in the Fwd line us a joke after 3 years of winning a flag , Goodwin has completely unwound the foundations of contest & defence set by Roos ..I’d be surprised if trac dosent request a trade.
