  1. Well that was yuck. My nearly two year old was very demonstrative that her play dough biskies were more interesting than watching the game. In the third quarter I bowed to her superior judgement and turned it off. I then had to try the biskies and I feel like I'm probably ahead. We missed Lever so much, and I can't wait for Max to get back. Other than the run in the 2nd, we looked like the boring old demons of 2nd half of last year, wouldn't lose by much, would beat the lower teams but we all knew something was up. Really sick of players not looking inward in the forward half too with Oliver working into space and screaming for the ball. He wants to take his game to another level, the other players need to help him there. It's only early but, our run isn't too bad, just keep building and keep in striking distance of the top four and not risk our players and get them peachy keen for the back half is my optmistic take.
  2. I'm not sold on it right now, he was okay and glad he kicked a snag. What I am sold on is Goodwin trying new things. We have an unbelievably talented list now and we need to cash in, so instead of the down the line plays and being really risk averse I'm glad it looks like we are trying to be proactive and use our talent offensively (maybe a better word is "naturally") rather than the "they will be better one on one" mindset. Which honestly last year (albeit with our players being cooked/injured) did keep us in games but was a waste.
  3. Yep, he might not get heaps of disposals, but his pressure work is great. Plus he has a deft touch that leads to goals (and an ability to kick some of his own). No way he is dropped next week when Kozzie comes back.
  4. I love this club.
  5. I know there were a lot of names tonight. But holy dog, Lever is something else. Plays bigger than his frame suggests, fends off, gets to the right spot and has a really big kick. What a player.
  6. Are we there yet?
  7. These replays are doing my head in haha
  8. Call me a silly bugger, but.... I'm more interested in Gawn going back more like 2021 and Grundy being the more aggressive ruckman kicking to (hopefully) JVR, BBB and TMac.
  9. I'm bored. Where's The Riddler?
  10. Install a rheem, install a rheeeem
  11. Watched it today with a Swans mate, he was joking about his margin ticket at the start of the game (it was 79) and then at least had something to watch for in the last quarter and then that didn't go well. It was all about working out how to beat us in coming up to the big dance, teams did that, then the best general football performance won it. P.S. I would love to see what our small forwards could do with a couple of KPFs running around next year so they can do their work not around 12 blokes in a pocket. Not entirely relevant, but it is a bit :)
  12. I reckon Bowey will come out snorting fire. Not that anyone will notice once it gets to his hairline.
  13. Let's them keep an open mind I guess haha.
  14. I reckon Hibberd should get another run around next year. Gus in the midfield let's Salem do his job too (as the half back link up). If we absolutely have to wouldn't mind him going back to a defensive wing position. We have the cattle it's just putting them in the right paddock.
  15. Gus in the guts. 😍😍 Sure it was because of Harmes not being available but there were a few other tweaks tonight as well. Kick in's were not as predictable for one.
  16. Forget science. Nothing truer has ever been said haha.
  17. I reckon Dunstan goes alright. But I wouldn't mind his number either. I'm after some lamb chops, some nice eye fillet, rump steak and chuck steak for my casseroles.* *seriously hope he can fix up his disposal.
  18. Loading. I'm a believer* *not entirely taking the pizzle but might be as well. I'm confused.
  19. That was hard to watch I spent more time trying to figure out who was on what team rather than watch the flow of play.
  20. We worked ourselves into the game tonight... and did Dee things. Even tho we were 3 goals up in our losses, I don't think we were really building at any stage of those games. A couple of players did good things (how good is Brayshaw btw?) but with injuries in our KPD stocks, we ended up cooked. Hard, creative and ran the pants off Brisbane tonight. We looked fit again. Long may it continue.
  21. I find this talk of "loading" relevant to my interests. Please tell me moar 😈
  22. Plus I think Eddie is very sad that his "lateral" thinking about Norf being the Tassie team didn't go anywhere except to derision land.
