There will never be equality in the AFL because it is a business, it's run on profits and revenue. What is even more worrying, it that it has absolutely no ethics, from the top on down - this is why we see things like Essendon, etc. Then the AFL try cover it up, that is what they are about. Betting companies are some of the biggest sponsors in the game. Television stations dictate the draw - which in turn affects equality. The more the AFL is the business, the game is the product, that is all. All I can say is thank god for Eddie McGuire, otherwise the AFL would just keep pulling the wool over the eyes of the public. The competition needs to be fair, I believe it will come to a stage in the future - where Eddie will threaten to pull Collingwood from the competition. Collingwood will strike and I hope they do.

Actually it is not fact at all.. In this order, our best and fairest in 2013 was... Jones, Garland, Terlich. Football is a results driven business.. If you are going to spew facts, in order to make yourself sound superior - at least spew our correct facts.

He is our 3rd best back man - behind Garland and Terlich. I'd rate Frawley between 6-10 as far as our best, but 2-5 for our most important players. If we encounter monster forwards, Frawley then becomes our most important player. But, given we now have bolstered our midfield, hopefully we can take some pressure off Frawley down back.

I think if Pedo turns out the be a player, it would be a bonus. Most have wrote him off - myself included - but he is gaining some traction now, had a good game on the weekend. Was a very gutsy act running back with the flight. If Pedo continues those acts, he'll turn many into fans.

Very impressive debut by the kid. Looked to have good skills for a big man, nice balance and a good leap. Obviously has a big future, but we'll also need to be patienct - he does look very light on. Come 2016, our two Max's will be a very good ruck duo.

I don't think there will be a Vince Vs Crouch argument. We managed to pick up an inside midfielder in Dom Tyson, as well as acquire pick 9 - all this for pick 2. So, we nailed two inside mids with that pick. What else did we need? We desperately needed a classy, mature midfielder with finishing skills = Bernard Vince. I thought Vince had a good year last year, IMO he has underachieved all his career, Vince has always had the tools to become elite. I don't think we could afford to offload Sylvia and replace him with a first year player - the majority of second round picks wouldn't be give us much output.

We need Jamar back in, or at least Gawn. Spencer isn't up to AFL standard, which is a real shame, he tries hard. Dawes, Hogan and Fitz in, if any of them are able to play.

I might have to get down to Tassie - just to get away from the hype. Gotta love it hey, it is just fantastic, I haven't felt this way about a side since Lovell and Viney were running the division.

We actually kept possession of the football. Opposition supporters mightn't understand, but the sheer fact we held possession is like winning a flag. Well, I wouldn't go that far, but it was good to be able to watch a structured and somewhat disciplined side.

Yeah, before we essentially got Vince in return... Since we offloaded Sylvia, received compo, offloaded that for Vince - I think nearly everyone in Demonland was all for that. I haven't heard many people say we would've been better off with Sylvia - and that was even before tonight, since we have got Vince, he has been a favorite around D'land, nearly at JKH levels.

Watched Vince play SANFL when he got dropped from Adelaide for getting on the turps. Racked up nearly 50 possies and embarrassed the Crows for even dropping him, the guy has immense talent. I've backed him twice for the brownlow at odds in the past 5 years. Pretty big fan of 'The Difference'.

Not sure anyone ever preferred Sylvia over Vince. Bernie pretty well received on the land.

King is doing far better than Spencer. He actually has some spring about him.

Terlich will be All Australian at years end.

Matt Jones looks good off the back flank. I think he needs to make that his position and he could be a very good player down back.

I am a massive Dom Barry fan.

Pederson just shown amazing courage. That was gutsy.

The more we involve Dom Barry, the better off we will be.

Yeah, I noticed that. He looked sluggish.

Barry is going to be an exceptional player.

I like that decision by Trengove to take the 6, that is a guy who knows his game.
