  1. Thanks DW. That parts really upsetting. He is and always will be a champion of the club. The Ox has a voice that we need to utilize. Hopefully this can be fixed.
  2. He would have the most grunt out of any player in this side! Have you not seen him tackle?
  3. And I'd have Brock McLean over him...
  4. Unless he is playing midfield for 100% of his game time then he is a liability. If he's not playing there then he shouldn't be playing.
  5. Just looking at your current side. I am all for you delisting 3 players to give others a chance! You are very well placed!
  6. In the view of fairness, could we do a handicapped keeper system that might seem fairer to those down the ladder? For example. Position 14-18 (Can choose up to 4 keepers. At least two must already be on their list at seasons end plus the option to pick up 2 players off the waivers if wanted. If multiple players select the same player off the waivers then the lower placed side receives the player) Position 9-13 (Can choose up to 4 keepers. At least three must already be on their list at seasons end plus the option to pick up 1 player off the waivers if wanted. If multiple players select the same player off the waivers then the lower placed side receives the player) Position 5-8 after finals (Can choose up to 3 keepers. All three must already be on their list at seasons end) Position 1-4 after finals (Can choose up to 2 keepers. Both must already be on their list at seasons end) Draft to take place in the same fashion with player selecting their picks etc. Personally, I'm for the original system but I do see where Range Rover is coming from. Also having Ablett on my team made me feel a little guilty about the whole keeper concept. But I figure, if I can't make finals with Ablett then I'm probably not going to have 3 other keepers on my list! Range Rover I hope you do stay, its great to build up a rivalry with the same players each year. JackAttack, loving the work you do. If people do happen to drop off, please don't abandon this sensational ship that you have created!
  7. We have decided on a keepers league. People have traded or held onto injured plays due to this. 4 keepers isn't too many
  8. I like the idea of a league commissioner who has the ability to reject trades if they are unreasonable. I know UF has this feature. Anyway welcome back JCB. You have quite a team going there. I'm glad your back to stuff it up
  9. Actually any interest in Blake? I'm looking for a defender that offers tackles... Thinking Broughton or something like that?
  10. Jason Blake is carrying my ruck division atm. Quite happy with that. People are having to be very creative with their coaching and its great! As usual I will send out a million Monday morning trade offers!

We could do with Tom Scully on our list for the next 15 years. This is fact. We should be ashamed he felt it necessary to leave and we must get ourselves into a position that no player ever wants to leave us again...
  12. Is it just me or have we yet to see the best 22 available players selected for a match?
  13. Whether they're brothers or not I don't know but.. Ottens, Jetta, Bennell, Davey, Cockatoo-Collins
  14. Holy crapballs. Ablett, Fisher, Bock, Carrazzo, McEvoy all down. Time to start building for 2013 me thinks... Any realistic chance of getting something for Carrazzo and McEvoy, maybe thinking long term for your side?
  15. Wow. How quickly the wheels can fall off! Well done Wacko! Coming at you this week RPFC. Hopefully Selwoods out!
  16. Yup we recruited to replicate Geelong's list. Watts - (actually picked to be more of a Nick Riewoldt but at pick 1 you take that) - Blease - Wojcinski, Strauss - Hunt, Tapscott-Chapman, Scully-Ablett, Trengove - Bartel, Jurrah - Stevie J. The theme also went onto existing players Frawley - Scarlett, Rivers - Harley. Anyway our best footy over the past few years was played with an attacking corridor centric brand of football. You know the days that every commentator mentioned how exciting we are, the days we thought that our best could match it with anyone. The days we actually did match it with the best (Collingwood 2010 x2). Breaking our game apart and starting from scratch seems very unnecessary to me.
  17. Cuddles I agree with you 100%. The current crop of players we have were recruited and built to play an attacking game similar to that played by Geelong. Bailey himself came from Essendon and Port Adelaide, two sides which played attacking fast flowing games. Despite the second half of last year we had made steady progress. We shouldn't have jumped ship and abandoned the way we played. We should be embracing the qualities that we already have and enforcing a tough defensive edge. There should be no need to start from scratch and change the philosophies of all our players.
  18. In 'The Coaches Office' video on the website, Neeld said Jurrah and Sylvia will play VFL this week, not AFL
  19. Great close match! Maric really came to the fore for you today! Not sure on Carrazzo. I definitely won't be dumping him as he'll be great value come finals time. He might be available for the right offer though.
  20. Maybe? I think he jumped at the fact Browny only got 3 touches. That trade offer was actually sent at least a week before he accepted so I have no doubt he'll respond to you in time. Anyway I'm after a high possession winning forward or a backup ruckman. All my defenders, bar Gibbs are available. Also Brock McLean anybody?
  21. Can everybody please welcome Jono Brown to Robbo24's team. Thank you.
  22. Will never get over confident. Picking up and trading out McCauley has been the key. According to their twitter account, position changes will be reflected on Wednesday. You chose Conca over Sam Fisher? Or was it Hargraves I offered you? Big call, although I see where you're coming from
