  1. Howe was getting picked up in the draft, whether it was by us or someone else
  2. Dawes - 3-4(22) .429 8 6 5 4 2 - Elliot - 0-2 (2) .000 8 5 8 0 6 0 The projection suggests you'll smash me
  3. Paid the couple of bucks for premium. Hasn't worked out for me though! You're the wreckers, yeh? It says not to play either of them and to pick Shulz!
  4. Anyway back on it. Look at Beams projected score this week . HUGE! Will win you the match and end my season if he pulls it off! F Dayne Beams (CW - C,F) 6-1 (37) .857 22 18 5 0 3 1
  5. Haven't they been doing this the last 2 months?
  6. Womens AFL will be a televised sport within 10 years... so yes
  7. For those that aren't leaving the league, there is an IPhone App. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ultimate-footy-afl-season/id542387240?ls=1&mt=8
  8. JCB, I have no idea what DL7 is, what he/she looks like or any of their interests besides MFC. Yes, as pointed out previously my brother is Snomed Returns. He is the only affiliation I have with anybody in this league. As said earlier, i'm sick of people questioning my trades. I would have offered hundreds of trades this year, some weighted in my favour and rejected accordingly, some stupidly in other peoples favour (trading out Ablett, what was I thinking?)
  9. Good question. I dare say that as the player isn't on your list already he won't be a 'keeper' as you're not keeping anything. I am in a similar boat. I recon just two extra picks at the end of the draft
  10. It's starting to get a little annoying that every trade I make someone cries foul. Like it or not, Scully will be an elite player in the AFL for the next 10 seasons. As I wrote earlier I want to win this year and an upgrade on a player for a guaranteed rookie gun was on offer. I sent out no less than 10 trade offers to different people, some were rejected, some unanswered and DL7 accepted as it will help his side going forward. JCB would you be complaining if I wasn't playing you this week? Anyway, that's what the keeper league is all about. (I'm not for it but will play to the boundaries that have been set) Good luck this week. Jono Brown against Gold Coast could win you this round by on his own.
  11. ha maybe. I am happy to keep Scully for next year, just chasing a premiership in 2012. I recon I need an upgrade to be a chance
  12. LOVE the passion I'm getting when people reject the Scully offers But seriously, come on someone must want him as a keeper?
  13. I know he's got a tainted name around here but any interest in Scully? He's an underage keeper and will no doubt be a keeper for years to come. Currently though, he just isn't cutting it for me. Any trades for a high possession winning mid or forward would be strongly considered
  14. He did well in a side that was comprehensively beaten. Not many players step up in losing sides. Look at our 'superstars', Moloney, Jamar, Trengove, Grimes... They haven't stepped up in losses. This guy has, and will continue to
  15. He has been in our best couple the last 3 weeks. It's funny when you mention Col's 'shockers'. When Col has 'shockers' he is still a productive player and doesn't venture into the bottom 10 players in the side. A true sign that he is indeed an ultra valuable player
  16. Welcome back Colin. You are once again proving to be our best player and any talk by people on this site suggesting you being traded is being shown to be a complete joke. Say what you want about Col, be disappointed that he isn't Dane Swan or Robert Harvey, but embrace the face he is Col Sylvia. Col is an elite kick, mark and has elite strength. Sure he's not going to get 35+ touches a week, but who in this side ever will? After breaking his back in the pre season, Col eased into the season and is now again showing how much better he is than anyone else on our list.
  17. I thought Spencer was quite good. As unco as he looks, he gives 100%, tackles hard and competes in the air. He's behind Jamar and Martin but I'm not upset having him as a backup
  18. While this disappoints me, I'm happy for Redden to continue to fly under the radar
  19. I strongly considered Redden (my highest ranked, 13), actually have a proposal open, just can't bring myself to offer it yet
  20. Bummer. Anyway does someone have a few goals they can give me? Fanks
  21. I thought it was a decent trade. Greene, a first year player thats due to burn out plus pendles with a broken leg for Redden who is dominating and Fisher who is ultra consistent
  22. HT - I thought I could win you over by offering lots of Western Australian players. Alas, no luck
  23. Please tell me if I am actually off the mark here but I thought this was about as reasonable of a trade offer as you can get!
