I would give up anyone but Rivers and Jones. Yes I would give up McLean, I want to see Judd in a Melbourne guernsey.
What is the most I would give up for Judd? Anymore than Pick 4 and another Top 10 pick or v. good player is too much to lose.
He is not coming to Melbourne.
I was right on Dean Bailey, and I've been wrong before, but we do not look like the club he wants to come to. Other clubs are much more attractive to him, his manager and West Coast.
Bring Back Powell will like this thread.
I think it's rubbish as well, the only bone 'er spirit that got them premiership glory was also responsible for Carey's exile from the club.
I will be ecstatic if Daniel Bell gets top 5.
The more I think about it the more it looks like:
1. Nathan Jones
2. James McDonald
3. Brad Green
4. Jeff White
5. Brown/someone else
I want Port to win it because I like some of their players (especially Westhoff). I think they will win it.
I also want North to win it because they have so little and it would be a triumph against adversity situation that would be quite life affirming . . . for Kangas supporters.
If Geelong or Hawthorn win it I will puke.
It's out of West Coast, Sydney, Port and Geelong (obviously). Carn the Power and the Roos.
They tanked half a season?
Past it, dud, moron, serviceable, hack, good, obese respectively. They are not going to win anything for a long time because of the culture they have.
If Newton was playing for Collingwood when he took that mark, it would still be bloody obvious to moi that it was the best mark of the year!
Motlop GOTY.
I'm perfectly happy to join the mindless mob and burn him. You don't need to defend every post made against him and yes I know your reasoning. You're supposed to moderate messages not thought.
Bruce is currently a dour footballer with high trade market value. There is a great opportunity to trade him and win on the deal. If you take emotion and allegiance out of the equation, C.B. is the best trade bait since S.W.
Hmmm, in the year 2007 we are presented with 5 prospective coaches, we choose the one that has proven himself a more capable modern day coach then the others according to a well-established criteria, and this process can be related to not having won a premiership in 43 years.
I can see the split in a couple of years; if we do poorly under Bailey then we are a basketcase for not taking Sheeds, if we do poorly under Sheeds we got sucked in by his profile and should've taken Bailey . . .
Quadruple it. A man of pure substance. I'd be happy if he or Sheeds got it, I always thought Bailey would get it from the very first story that came out about how he approached the club.
