Brett Lovett - one of my all time favourites and very under- rated. Hope his son has inherited his good decision making, coolness under pressure and ability to find space. Didn't he come to the Dees from the Hawks?

I posted this in another thread. It doesn't make sense that Dawes injury is just a calf- must be linked to his degenerative knee. I wish they would stop telling us porkies.

Just saw the injury update - Dawes still the old 2-3 weeks. Must be the slowest calf rehab in history. Wonder if we're not being told porkies and it's his degenerative knee. Also said Hogan at least another 2-3. Everything seems to take forever!

Think people are being a bit tough on Howe. He played well pre-season and it would not be easy for someone his size and build being a key position forward. Hes a natural 3rd forward and will struggle until Dawes et al return.

That's not the point. it will be all about how the experience is used by the coaching staff to highlight positives and negatives

Really enjoying Roos approach. Realistic, logical and generating a good feeling among the playing group. A game plan that is achievable is in place and I think his comment to ignore the score board is great. First priority would be to eliminate those too frequent unforced turnovers.

You need cattle to have a plan B - we had none. it's a game we should have won but at least we are getting some ball which was not happening last year. It would be good if West Coast was left battered and bruised by the Dogs.

Byrnes was on the end of 2 Joe the Goose goals. Can't get his own ball or tackle. Nowhere near good enough
