  1. madness, i cant wait for the video, BUT i think that is a bit cruel... keep it to the good stuff!! but i agree with condemned, fraser waving and a caption just reminding everyone how much of a tool and a waste of a number 1 pick he is.
  2. it smells a little bit like OP or something lingering like that for these two, would love to see them back in one or two but i doubt it. Bartram would be good to get back a bit sooner also.
  3. why is 50 games not enough? it shouldn't matter how many games he has played its what he does when he is out there... i think the elim final last year showed us exactly the type of leader he is. Bruce, for mine, is not as influential on games as brock is.
  4. i dont think he was having a go at holland, i think he was just frustrated that he coudnt keep it in play because he had worked hard and had so much room in front of him. If Brock doesnt get the captaincy it would be stupid... from what we have seen he is a much better on field leader than anyone else in the running. But we are lucky to have both of them cause they would make any other team in the AFL, but for what its worth i think brock's kicking stats are worse because his kicks are often clearance kicks that aren't intended to hit a target, just to get the pill going in our direction.
  5. jump onto the magpies forum and have a read of the excuses about the umpires hahahahahaha some of the most entertaining drivel i have ever read, but oh so satisfying!!! suffer scum!!
  6. thanks champ, i always thought it was running through lines of opposition players or something like that. Fairly useless term in AFL then...
  7. define 'runs the lines'? and if its what i think it is, im pretty sure Dal does that, he doesn't avoid contests and with the likes of jones, mclean, sylvia coming through we need a class act surronding them, and there aren't many better users of the ball. But like i said, either of the saints, it doesnt really matter to me that much, any of them would be a dream!!
  8. Assuming Judd is unavailable, out of that list, i would prefer 1 of these. (1) Dal Santo, well he is just polished... beautiful skills (2) Riewoldt, enough said, get garry down there to teach him how to kick (3) Maguire, Injury worries, but worth the risk, good quality key backmen (4) Charman, a well tested afl standard ruckman, temper a worry but i like him (5) Hasleby, for some reason i just like him, maybe a bit too like brock, jones etc. last priority, doubt he will leave freo anyway i think one of the saints would be the best deal, but charman at a good price would be a very very good deal.
  9. ummm... Carroll is 191 cm and 91 kg's Cornes is 192 cm and 96 kg's So i guess Carroll is smaller than Cornes A bit of research never goes astray.
  10. who doesnt...?? lol i think it is probs. brown, godfrey or miller bell has deserved his position all year, absolutely no questions about that. to suggest otherwise is silly.
  11. Played an absolute ripper today!!! Best 2 on the ground!! Hope he keeps it up
  12. oh well, if you and mfc are on there im sure everything will be ok not to worry, im off to the game GO DEES!!!
  13. i still havent heard from them.... they must not like new people on their forum huh?
  14. harsh on cambell brown!! he is as tough as nails... wish he was at the dees good that judd got off.... DREAM TEAM!!
  15. rollo, the link is http://www.mightyhawk.net/forum/index.php i registered just then but an admin. has to approve my application so i suppose that will happen tomorrow, if you want me to post on there tomorrow night i will, but it will be tomorrow night cause i have uni all day tomorrow. the register tab is up the top with a few other icons. hope that helps.
  16. MFC and Rollo, i would love to get the old forward line back together!! hopefully hards can join us too. I'll reply for freak too, as i know he will want to play.
  17. davey has best served in the forward line as a crumbing forward at the feet of neitz and robbo. putting him in the midfield is a waste of his talents, he is too small and not hard enough, he gets caught out too often when his pace isnt enough to get him out of trouble. i agree with most here, a ruckman and key forward are the most important.
  18. i didnt see the game, no access to foxtel! so could someone please tell me if anyone did anything worth commenting on, namely sylvia, jones and bell. thanks
  19. i'd be leaning towards sylvia more than jones just because of the type of player he is, but it doesnt bother me that much.
  20. godders to kerr i think but we cant let bruce or TJ go head to head with judd. if we had someone of the same calibre, sure back our guy in but no team has a midfielder in the same league... apart from West Coast. I agree with those wanting to play a younger player on him, and no neccessarily a tagger either. Put sylvia or jones onto him and let them see what the best in the league do, it would be a marvellous lesson, especially for their minds if not bodies. - they'll learn how hard to run and when - the most effective ways to break tags - roatations of a top midfielder -decision making i would like to see that.
  21. Congratulations to Lizzie, she was just named mother of the year on the footy show. Very Well Deserved!!
  22. Dear all, I believe that this week has many similarities to the week before we started our big run last year... - home game against a team from adelaide - davey goal ruled no goal by an iffy umpiring decision - our closest result for the year - backs to the wall - on the bottom of the ladder lets see the run start next week against the doggies, i cant wait!! see you all at the dome *edit* not on the bottom anymore i dont think
  23. Last night i had a dream that i was sitting at the game and the team came up on the score board as it does before every game... The good news is pettard was on the board, as was buckley and Newton. There were also some names i couldnt make out, i think Weetra was one of them cause it had a W in it. The best was Frawley at CHB Could it happen?? Is it a sign?? I hope so, obviously not all of them are going to play but a couple would be nice now. Namely, Pettard Buckley and Frawley (pity about the injuries) Even though i was arguing for bizzel in the forward line last week i think im swinging towards juice getting a go, even with out neitz, just because if we arent going to play bizz then we have no other option.
  24. glad to know we can count on you when times get tough... i wonder who will be the first on the bandwangon when we start winning?? hmmmm.... I will be there, hopefully we get a crowd to support our boys when we are most needed
