I'd be happy if we offered him 5 years at $450k-500k .. I think he is very valuable to us up forward, his constant leading up the ground providing a target coming out of the back half makes us a much better side. We must look at the bigger picture for this football club, we have taken it up to port twice this year and shown glimpses against other top sides. We just as roos says every week, learn how to play 120 minutes of football... A half last week against the cats, 1 & a half qrts against the dogs, a half against essendon, 20 minutes today. This side will learn how to play a full 4 qrts. Loses like this will reiterate that message.. If we won today maybe they don't realise you cant go to sleep for 20 minutes and still win a game of football. 6 losses under 20 points, we are on the right track. Give us another 12 months and those close losses turn to wins and were a side challenging for the 8

The umpires were terrible BUT we were infront with 3:30 on the clock.. Jones choosing to selfishly take the advantage and run into a wall of port players, Dawes kicking the ball back into CHF when the kick needed to be long down the line.. Grimes' kick on the full was terrible, BUT we should have never been in the situation in the first place. Also anyone see jones give cassisis a little punch to the face in the last in the forward 50, suspect he'll be missing the Brisbane game

On malceski, usually I'd say 2 knee recos, turning 30 what's the point. But his year this year has been outstanding. Not to mention he is EXACTLY the type of player we need. Elite by foot coming out of the backhalf, imagine him kicking out of defence rather than Terlich/grimes been the running HBF. I'm all for getting him, Sydney has to lose some players out of the Tippett/franklin deals, yes it would water down our Frawley compo pick but if we got pick 4 and a earlier 2nd rounder(Frawley compo) plus malceski and only lost Frawley I'd. Jones has been average the last couple of weeks but he hasn't been on his own. Hoping the final bench will be : Blease, JKH, Michie, Kent(sub) but have a feeling Tapscott will get another go unfortunately

Cross was an exception, we don't need to have a discussion on every 30+ aged player that's near the end. People have mentioned judd, maxwell, o'keefe. Cross was a one off, who's body was in exceptional condition for someone his age and he is the perfect role model for the younger players.

Well cameron fits the profile for that small article in the herald sun. With the money we gain from Clark and frawley which seems likely.. We'd have around 1.2mil to 1.3mil to play with. He'd be worth every cent for around that amount
