Which part of dunns game yesterday was consistent to his form most of the year ? I thought he was pathetic yesterday. He will not be a good footballer until his realises his limitations, why he runs behind players looking for the handball to make the play, YOU CANT KICK FOR [censored] MATE!!! I was thinking today, isn't it funny.. If Brent moloney was never at melbourne I reckon we'd be talking him up as an experiences bigger body midfielder to help us out for a couple of years, the fact he was basically traded/let go means he'd never return.. I'm not advocating to get him but does anyone else think if he wasn't a former melbourne player we would be saying to get him ?

Never doubt his commitment to the club.. 2 time premiership player, speak for itself. Wasn't the best signing in regards to on field, god knows why we didn't just pick him up in the PSD.. But only those inside the club would know he's true value and hopefully his passed on some great knowledge to the young blokes

His a pretty good small rebounding defender, not sure his kicking skills are elite or not which would be one of the main reasons we'd try and get him. His just turned 26 so has plenty of time. Doms probably has had more stand out games but Vince has been more consistent. They both have been fantastic additions to the side. Dom would be ahead in B & F voting i think just on the fact his had more higher voting games

People saying his knee could blow out at any time... Well we gave up pick 12 for a bloke who played a handful of games for us, you never know what is around the corner, no point living in fear of hypotheticals.. His exactly the type of player we need and if he was interested in coming to us then we should be all for it

I'm not concerned one little bit about our scoring. That it was comes last, most afl coaches (I've heard bomber on AFL 360) say that you must learn to defend before you can attack and attack is the last piece to the puzzle... Look at north melbourne what's the point in scoring if you can't defend well, that's why there such an up & down side because sides can score easily against them and once they have a run on its hard to stop. As roos said ion FC last night, they've just started to introduce ball movement going forward the last 2 weeks. You can't do what neeld did and come in and say "when we have the ball do this and we don't have it do this" it confuses the players. Best way to teach is the fundamental of the modern game is defending and once they have grasped that concept you can move onto bringing in the attacking part of the game.

I'd be happy if we offered him 5 years at $450k-500k .. I think he is very valuable to us up forward, his constant leading up the ground providing a target coming out of the back half makes us a much better side. People who say his not playing for the team atm, just watch him and how hard he works up the ground. If he didn't give a stuff he wouldn't be putting in the hard yards, unless his trying to play well to bump up his value. I really don't know what he's gonna do, earlier in the year I thought he was staying, mid year he was gone and now I'm swaying back to staying... Who knows I also have a mate who works for the club. Had to go for a run to let of some steam... Given the tragedy that occurred only a few days ago, losing a game of football doesn't even compare... We must look at the bigger picture for this football club, we have taken it up to port twice this year and shown glimpses against other top sides. We just as roos says every week, learn how to play 120 minutes of football... A half last week against the cats, 1 & a half qrts against the dogs, a half against essendon, 20 minutes today. This side will learn how to play a full 4 qrts. Loses like this will reiterate that message.. If we won today maybe they don't realise you cant go to sleep for 20 minutes and still win a game of football. 6 losses under 20 points, we are on the right track. Give us another 12 months and those close losses turn to wins and were a side challenging for the 8

The umpires were terrible BUT we were infront with 3:30 on the clock.. Jones choosing to selfishly take the advantage and run into a wall of port players, Dawes kicking the ball back into CHF when the kick needed to be long down the line.. Grimes' kick on the full was terrible, BUT we should have never been in the situation in the first place. Also anyone see jones give cassisis a little punch to the face in the last in the forward 50, suspect he'll be missing the Brisbane game
