They do have some good young talent, but 5 of their best 6 (Ziebell, Cunnington, Tarrant, Goldy, Atley) are all on the wrong side of 30. Not unlike the Cats. A look at their best 6 every week and it's the same (old) names.

Sorta happy we don't play Norf again. Surely they have this.

Cunnington's goal.

Two WC goals in less than a minute. Bugger.

Pretty good camera work on Ryan's goal.

Not able to check it ATM but from memory all events scheduled at Metricon for 2021 are on their site with date and time.
-
Last time I looked at the Metricon Stadium site we were scheduled to play the Suns Sat July 23rd night.

Three word summary Joeboy (or other)?

Remember to take the plastic off the cheese. And 40/60, that's a fair sugar fix.

He was interviewed post-match on ch 7. Comes across as a ripping young man. Exactly as my mate (a Crows supporter) who taught him some 5 years ago, said he was. For those who missed the interview Tom said he was rapt to be playing on the likes of Fyfe and Neale. I think (and hope) he'll be with the MFC for quite a while. He's skilled and tough.

Sam has no excuses next Monday. Most likely get Roughead. I'd expect Weid to kick 3+ The Bombres the following match. Similar story.

Getting better each week. Could teach a few how to one-grab mark (Weid, ...).

Agree. We have to show some faith in Weid. IMO he's a confidence player. Probably 3 or 4 missed marks on Friday were 'nearlies' including the very first centre clearance (that Harmes goaled from). I don't recall him '2 grabbing' marks in the 2018 finals (Cats and Hawks). Weid is the future. BBB ain't.

"Even former Demons skipper David Neitz was initially surprised at the number, until he was asked to pass opinion on whether each of them deserved their position. Jake Lever? “Yes, he gets a tick.” Steven May? “He gets a tick.” Christian Salem? “Great distributor, it’s hard to go past him.’’ Ed Langdon? “The wing position is such a pivotal spot and he plays it really well. He’s up and back and everywhere, he’s been fantastic.’’ Max Gawn? “Yep, very comfortably in the team.’’ Get BINGE Basic from only $10/mth Clayton Oliver? “Also extremely comfortable in that team.’’ Tom McDonald? “What a story. Everyone thought he was shot at the end of last year and it’s been a credit to himself. I love seeing it.’’ Christian Petracca? “Yes.’’ “You could make case for each of them,’’ Neitz said. ...

Love him or hate him, the bloke knows talent when he sees it. Mark Robinson names his mid-season All-Australian team for 2021

I just can't see the Weid getting dropped. The FD would have thought long and hard about the permutations/combinations ( Weid poor, BB poor in VFL, Weid poor and BB good, Weid good and BB better ....) before dropping BB. They had to pick one and back him in for a few weeks. What happens if BB replaces Weid this week and performs poorly?

It was the form of Tom Boyd in the GF that got them over the line. 14 disposals, 8 marks, 3 goals 2. In the lead up 14 games he'd kicked a total of 10 goals and had been goal-less in 8 games. Weid stepped up in two finals in 2018. I'm not prepared to write him off yet.

For a start it's Ticketmaster and not Ticketek. Tickets for away members go on sale at 10am Wed and GA sales at 1pm Wednesday. I don't think you'll be able to get all 10 tickets in one transaction unless you want to wait until 1pm and pay for the two you would get for free if you booked those tickets earlier in the day (10am). I doubt that you can 'mix and match' ie supply two barcodes for the freebies and then pay for 8. It is highly likely, however, that Dees members and GA will be confined to level 4 (top deck). I was there for the Saints game (row X - 2nd from back) and the six of us were all able to move to the front row as there were heaps of empty seats. I doubt there'll be anywhere near capacity. MCC members are not getting reciprocal rights at the Docklands this year for starters, meaning they have to pay a motza for reasonable seats. I reckon many won't bother.
