Not sure Dersken would have been better than Sestan as both players never played seniors. However if we cannot off load May , the coach could play him as a forward . We could get Dersken for cashews or peanuts.

I just cannot see another club paying for his huge wage unless he takes a pay cut. What has Adelaide,Fremantle and G.C got to offer us that is reasonable compensation.? At his peak we could have got two first rounders, however that is not going to be the case. We should not offered Kozzie so much as we would have more money to attract good players.

I would be surprised if Oliver and or Trac would be traded. Remembering how good they were in the 21 grand final. With a new coach they will probably excel . However the new coach cannot afford to keep playing players who are out of form. Oliver and Trac and co. must realised that they will be dropped for poor form and not sook over it.

He looks to be a good pick up for us , under Kingy he may flourish.

Under Goody's empire, the Dees don't do development , only career killing. Still disappointed that Sestan and Pup were delisted. However I still think Sestan will get rookied by another club.

Under a new coach who seemingly has a brain , i Don't see Petracca and Oliver leaving . They use to be the best in the business not so long ago. However don't be surprised if we trade out one or two experienced players.

We have a lot of talls with little or no ability depending how you rate them. I don't think Jefferson could make it as an AFL player under Goody and Co. empire. However with a new coach coming in Jeffo might be something !!!!!!! Kentfield would be the main forward going forward for me and in fact could play back with Turner playing forward. Petracca was previously good for kicking goals , due th his unfortunate injury last year that all dried up. Derksen won't cost us much and he can play all both ends which is a bonus. Jeffo cannot play at both ends.

Doesn't look like we could afford FLANDERS as we don't have the currency. Must find another way of getting a cheap mid perhaps someone who has been delisted from another club, plays like Culley. Or an older player like a Dylan Shiel ( not the best example ).

What are we going to give up in the way of picks for FLANDERS , considering we we only have second rounders to date. Also I will ask the same question for Windhager and Heath. Hopefully we are not going to give away our next year's first rounder.

I am very happy we chose a coach earlier than latter. If we are keeping N.Brown ( Good club man) as an assistant coach then we will be doomed and that applies to the rest of the [censored].coaches. Also we are going to sacrifice a couple of big names in order to get down in the draft order.

I don't think Kynan and Sestan were give a chance to prove themselves considering on how bad our seniors were.

We have O.Berry listed as a Rookie B player. Never heard of him , can someone tell me why he is listed?

Heath should be a better pick up than R.Marshall due to his age. We need ruckmen who can play forward and therefore is capable of kicking goals. Sadly we miss Luke Jackson. Perhaps Kalani White will becomes the new messiah. Where does that leave Verrel ?

He might be the new J.Smith , a medium forward capable of kicking goals.

Dar perhaps the fact we were chasing Wade as a forward last year is we don't have any tall forwards. This has been a problem for years.

I would imagine our primary interest in Wade is as a forward , yes it is a a bonus he can play defence. We also have Kentfield who can play both ends. Our reserve side played extremely well without Jefferson. In hindsight I believe that Jefferson will unfortunately be traded.

By getting Derksen will spell the end of Jefferson.

Perhaps we can swap Jack Petruccelle ( W.Coast) for Laurie.

Would not be surprised Oliver will end up at Richmond . Rich. gets Oliver plus our 2 nd ,Melb gets pick 3 and rich 4 th rounder. North will get Lever for their 2nd rounder min plus a 3rd rounder. Essendon will get Fritsch and possibly Jefferson and our 2nd rounder via Nth plus Ess. pick 7 and a 4th rounder. Laurie might be used as steak Knives. Melb might get L.J or Freo's Darcy for pick 7. Hopefully we can make a play for Port's Georg... 2x 2nd rounder and a future 2 nd rounder. All of the above are on my WISH LIST.

If a player is out of contact you may end up with no trade picks unless the out of contract player decides that. LJ was out of contract however he decided we should get some form of compensation from Freo. Leigh Mathews wasn't paid over a million dollars per year.

We should have played Kentfield or play May as a F.F , we had nothing to lose. Paying overs for Picket is a joke , he could suffer from a mental or physical health injury early and we still have to pay. Yes I know anyone could get injured. For his huge way I would expect him to kick 3 goals per week. His role is a midfielder (not in the elite class ) and a small forward who does not kick a load of goals. Gawn is an elite tap ruckman who the opposition constantly feeds off . He seldom kicks goals . We have lots of players who have gone backwards over the past years. Who goes Fritsch (for currency), the Bombers will take him , Oliver ,Sparrow ,Jefferson (given opportunities ) , Lever , May , Fullarton and perhaps Laurie.

We have to pick assistant coaches by end of August and yet we are picking our head coach in September, our so weird. Me thinks we have already picked the head guy and are showing to supporters that by setting up a selection panel we will appease supporters. Have any of the coaching selection panel ever coached a team to a flag?

Did we beat the hawks last week ,is that why there is no change this week. Kentfield and Adams your'e lucky that you are going to be part of the slaughter match. All up and coming players should request a trade next year whilst they still have their sanity left. This club is pathetic, it is like Goody is still coaching the rubble. Essendon will be very happy that we have gifted them an early draft pick.
