it might not be official but a journey of 1000 miles must start with one step

while your here, check it out!!

good effort Nugget...might have something there...if yo dont mind me saying.. with more polish... I liked it

oh yeah of coarse more polish, im an amateur, and the music was a bit out of sync lol....

please..wasnt mocking your effort..simply suggesting something along those lines more polished would be quite good :)

Good stuff, better than i could do.

I did notice in the paper the other day a massive add for the 150th year

Wonderful work Nugget- Enjoyed that

Good choice for song, the last 150 years certainly have been a 'bitter sweet symphony'

:) :)

You should send this in to the club and ask them to make a more "polished" version to advertise on television

i dont think that we'll be TV advertising too much, its apparantly too "expensive" and doesnt create enough return for its outlay...

loved the video though, first time i have realised that it was the kid who kicked it juice newton for his MOTY!!! a few more of those midifeld burst from sylvia in 2008 every game would be VERY NICE!!!

Just because they dont put it on TV doesnt stop them from being creative in much the same way Nugget has been.

A classy and entertaining 1 min clip placed on youtube or emailed around amongst supporters in the form of viral marketing can still reach a large audience and deliver the clubs message.

If its good enough it will spread far and wide.

Top effort.

Pity the video highlights came from one of our worst performances of the year (V Kangas)

yeah i know lol...there wasnt a great selection on you tube to chose from of our young blokes

well, i sent both this video and the other one to the club 6 days ago and i am yet to receive a reply...i also suggested the idea that they make official videos and possibly try sending them to the fans (through the new red and blue army thing they are doing) and also on the club websight embed through youtube so ppl can see videos like that through there...as i said on the other post, if kevin rudd can utilise the free space succesfully, why cant the dees!??

  • NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round

Finally the 2026 AFL Premiership Season is upon us. While Melbourne sits out Opening Round, there is still plenty of footy to enjoy with five non-MFC clashes to kick off the new season. It all begins on Thursday night with a blockbuster at the SCG as Sydney hosts Carlton in what should be a strong early test for both sides. On Friday night, Gold Coast gets its chance to open the season in front of a home crowd when the Suns and Christian Petracca take on Geelong at People First Stadium. Saturday features a double-header, starting in the afternoon with Greater Western Sydney and Clayton Oliver meeting the Hawks at Engie Stadium. That is followed on Saturday night by Brisbane Lions hosting the Western Bulldogs at the Gabba, with the Lions embarking on their campaign to win the Threepeat. Opening Round wraps up on Sunday night at the MCG, where St Kilda takes on Collingwood in the only game in town in the first week of the season. There is no shortage of storylines across the round, so discuss all the action from the non-MFC games of Opening Round.

  • PREGAME: St. Kilda

With just over two weeks until their opening match of the 2026 AFL Premiership season, the Demons are already well on the path to redemption and have the Saints firmly in their sights ahead of their mid-March clash at the MCG. What do you think the team will look like when they run out on to the G?

  • REPORT: Richmond

Mars is not usually a place known for lighting strikes but on Friday evening it happened twice in the vicinity of the stadium in Ballarat that carries the name and is a half completed building site with limited capacity for spectators.

  • VOTES: Richmond

Kozzy Pickett was the man of the match last week and has a vote lead over backup ruck Max Heath who didn't play this week and 5 votes over former Saint Jack Steele. Who gets the votes in this weeks shortened match win over the Tigers? Your votes please. 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 & 1.

It's Game Day and the 2026 AFL Premiership season is almost upon us as the Demons take to the field for their final practice match before the first ball is kicked in anger in 16 days time. What are you expecting to see from the Dees today as they take on the Tigers at Mars Stadium in Ballarat?
