Nope

I was trying to be realistic

but if you want a comparison

Brad Miller - Brent Grgic

Gee thanks for the good news mate I wasn't aware we had the next 6 flags in the bag

Take half those players, and halve your expectation of them and you are closer

Whats so funny Ash?

Bate is a freak. He has all the tools, and I think Bailey will turn him into a superstar

Bate is already the best player in the AFL at kicking goals outside 50

And you are judging that on the 27 goals he has kicked in his 33 games so far?

No mate seriously, it's all very amusing. Whatever you do, don't change your style.

I notice you mention your strike is down to 85%. What brought it down cos I swear you were telling us you were hovering around the 98% mark at some stage this year.

Was it the countless weeks Melbourne lost this season after you predicted a 7-10 goal win, or was it the Chris Judd prediction, or maybe the Brett Ratten to coach Melbourne statement.

As usual, I need your help, cos I've lost track.

I reckon he could be down to 84.5% the Maric - Daicos comparison is fair but I think Maric may also have a smidgen of Alan Jackovick in him as well.

what about dean bailey-jesus christ???

I got some more

John Meeson - Polly Farmer

Isaac Weetra - Chris Lewis

Kyle Cheney - Cameron Ling

Jack Grimes - Greg Williams

Dean Bailey - Norm Smith

Cos when the following kids hit their peak, they will be as good as /similair to the following AFL players

Colin Sylvia - Mark Ricciuto

Brock McLean - Michael Voss

Matthew Bate - Matthew Pavlich

Sir Cale Morton - James Hird

Nathan Jones - Robert Harvey

Lynden Dunn - Chad Cornes

Michael Newton - Tony Modra

Addam Maric - Peter Daicos

Jack Grimes - Glenn Archer

James Frawley - Matthew Scarlett

Ricky Petterd - Peter Matera

You are an absolute freak mate. You have no idea do you?

Sorry mate, the position of Yze_Magic is already filled.

I'm having a little fit here.

Just did a player comparison on footywire.

Bate now and Pavlich at the same age are comparable in all stats, except Bate has more than twice as many tackles and a few more possessions. (I presume because he's had a wider midfield/wing role, but then, where was Pavlich playing at 20?)

Could there actually be something to this?

Hee hee, this thread is fun.

addam maric just finished year 11 at school which makes him 17 . all you people who think hes the messiah , come back in 3 years

Yze Magic - mental patient?

Love u mate never change

except bartram isnt bi-sexual

Oh dear me. That's gold...

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

A few years ago, the Melbourne Football Club produced a documentary about the decade in which it rose from its dystopic purgatory of regular thrashings to the euphoria of a premiership victory. That entire period could have been compressed in a fast motion version of the 2025 season to date as the Demons went from embarrassing basket case to glorious winner in an unexpected victory over the Dockers last Saturday. They transformed in a single week from a team that put in a pedestrian effort of predictably kicking the ball long down the line into attack that made a very ordinary Bombers outfit look like worldbeaters into a slick, fast moving side with urgency and a willingness to handball and create play with shorter kicks and by changing angles to generate an element of chaos that yielded six goals in each of the opening quarters against Freo.
