COME ON YOU SPURS!

Where's Daiblo?

Gunners, once again under the Radar will be near the Pointy end of the Ladder

6-1 over Everton was a nice little opener Thankyou very much.

Bring it on....

I thought the Spurs strip was ok.

Was stoked to see Cahill re sign for us, means we will hold onto him unleast until janauary :P

Stoked about Cahill I bet. But not with the 6-1 thumping at the hands of the Gunners.

Man U over Birmingham, just 1-0. Yeah, not sure about Owen. Will score a few, but I wonder if he'll be able to hold up for the entire season. I think Chelsea, and the Gunners are off to a flyer. How was Drogba's chip goal. Awesome.

Will be interesting to see how Man City go with all their buys. They look a bit weak down back at the moment.

Wrong Cahill/team HT.

Yeah I was talking about Gary Cahill for Bolton, Timmy is a midfielder, we at Bolton do not have midfielders just defenders 2 meters more forward than the back 4

Hull will pay £4M for David Nugent from Pompey - deal should go through.

Reckon we could purchase a left foot for Aaron Lennon?

  • Author

lol! That was literally a two minute turnaround.

West Ham 1 - 2 Tottenham

Lennon's left foot!

West Ham 1 - 2 Tottenham

Lennon's left foot!

Saw that goal last night. Great goal threaded between about 3-4 defenders. The pass to him on the lead wasn't that good, but his touch was deft and he created the goal out of nothing. Weak defence all the same.

Quiet achievers?

Quiet achievers?

Compared to Man U & those Gutter Crawlers Chelsea, yes we are.

Arsenal will be right up there this year. Still a club owned by its members.

Man u vs Arsenal be a good game this week

Go The Red Devils

They always are! Still love the old 79 F.A Cup game. Can't top that one, or the day Ferguson threw a shoe at Beckham  F'N Gold!!!

Compared to Man U & those Gutter Crawlers Chelsea, yes we are.

We're not gutter crawlers at Chelsea. We have the best footballers in the land.

Go you Gooners. Quiet achievers, the way i like it.

You're kidding yourself...what has the Gunners quietly achieved lately? Man U & Chelsea have left Arsenal in their wake the last few years.

Was going to say, they haven't "achieved" much in the last 4 years!

Liverpool looking most vunerable of the big 4 already. Far too reliant on Torres and Stevie G.

Chelsea far from impressive so far but still look unstoppable in the same sentence. Go Blues!

Gooners classy but there will be a time they are vunerable with lack of depth, smart man in charge will remain top 4.

City - bubble will burst mark my words.

Pompey finally taken over by Oily Arab.

UEFA president Michel Platini is bringing in FIVE referees at every game to stop diving cheats like Eduardo. Additionaly to that - Top Ref Mark Halsey has been diagnosed with Cancerand will undergo treatment.

UEFA CL Group draw was done last night. all 4 avoided each other.

Transfer:

Lescott gone to City and rightly so. Scar face is over rated. Top 4 my Ar$e

Aston Villa have completed the signing of Stephen Warnock from Blackburn Rovers.

Blackburn Rovers have completed the signing of Pascal Chimbonda on a two-year contract from Tottenham Hotspur for an undisclosed fee.

Fulham have completed the signing of South African international Kagisho Dikgacoi.

Thats all for now - GG

  • REPORT: Port Adelaide

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.

The Demons simply did not take their opportunities when they presented themselves and ultimately when down by 25 points effectively ending their finals chances. Goal kicking practice during the Bye?
