POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne

It's lucky Xerri only knocked him out and had him carried off on a stretcher.

If he called him gay he would have got 8 weeks.

There is no place on footy for violence or homophobia but the disparity in penalties is mind boggling

Xerri cops his rightful punishment.

Can't believe North Melbourne challenged it.

And credit whete it's due - the tribunal slapped them down quick smart.

That is disgraceful conduct from North

How dare they even consider it, Tom was out cold before he hit the ground….

Don’t forget this MFC…

I reckon I saw Buddy like movements fleetingly on Sunday. We'll see.

Um I think he plays more like Jack Gunston, and I saw some of those features in his game last week.

I was just watching the Replay of the North game.

In the second quarter, Xerri swung a forearm into Xavier Lindsay’s head, knocking him over with a glancing blow. Very similar to the Sparrow incident, but luckily ( for him and X),with no serious consequences.

The fact that he’s done it twice in one game shows that it’s more than just an unfortunate incident. He’s aggressive and clumsy.

Actually , Xerri coat-hangered Lindsay in the first quarter, with 3 min to go.

It was “strikingly” ( pardon the pun) similar to the Sparrow hit.

For starters, they play completely different roles. If you're talking either/or, then it's TMac for May, perhaps Turner. The closest we have to Lever (intercept defender) would be Howes.

Funny how Lever is dropped and TMac retains his position
