If you use a g instead of an f.

Is it the same as using a b instead of a c.

What a silly bunt !

Well Gryan Miers’ parents clearly think it’s gine to swap out a B for a G.

OK, so you're sure Ainsworth wasn't just being given the green light to proceed to the new mark (with 50 meters )to take his kick. Often players do that so as to register the score quickly and therefore avoid a reversal from any infringement in the melee.

Who can be sure of anything with these things now?

A good job creation opportunity for the AFL would be to employ people to do umpiring transcripts. What was paid, what was said, what happened after etc. It would be a mix of Champion Data stats research and interrogation.

What a mess!! It was a free kick to Ainsworth … no mark … no 50 metres… May also got the ball and Ainsworth so no report

But how did May get fined for being smashed by 2 Suns cowardly bastards …

what a gucken joke !! MRO is gucked!!

season 1 wtf GIF by Patriot

Or to reverse the kick in the first place to give it to May for being smacked by 2 suns players

Loved the "Petty had poor technique"when he got concussed rubbish by the media

It's along the same vibe as "Brayshaw deviated his line into ftards shoulder" kinda logic.

Also along the line of the suggestion on Twitter that when Langford was elbowed in the head by the umpire, that he should be fined for contact with an umpire.

Would it really surprise anyone if that happened? Harvey himself said he’d pay the fine because “what choice would I have?” It’s sad to see the breaking of a kid’s spirit right before your eyes. 😢

Was reading about umpire contact just before;

It comes after a large increase in the number of incidents and charges for umpire contact in the past three years. In 2023, there were 20 charges for umpire contact across the season. Last year that increased to 56 charges, while there have been 60 charges already this season.

Changed rules can now see repeat offenders heading to the tribunal.

But surely Harvey’s case is different in that the umpire hit him - accidentally of course - and not the other way around.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
