Tom Campbell dominus ruckus

Luka Kentfield good mark

Baldi would want that kick back two on one slow and high.

Casey 5 goals 4 behinds

Swans 3 goals 2 behinds

OMG just tuned in. How they stuffed up that foiled attempt at clearance 27-28 minute mark. Back and forth, rinse and repeat until a turnover and a siren goal to South Melbourne.

Another turnover leads to a Swans goal.

Strong quarter by the Dees.

Given our earlier drawn match percentage isn't a big issue but winning each quarter and finishing strongly should be the goal.

Tholstrup has flashed in and out but not really setting the ground alight. Does he have the X factor? I'm not sure

Entertaining

Yes last minute turnover was poor

Otherwise good

JVR 2 goals, Woey good, Mentha lively, Jeffo better as CHF type, Kentfield is looking promising. Kolt needs to get into it.

Heading down to Geelong now for a family dinner. Cheers to all.

from @sydneydemon :

Jeffo 6 touches 3 marks and a goal. Great pass to JVR for a goal who’s kicked 2 goals. Playing well through the middle and in general play

based upon the 10 mins of the last quarter that i saw via the stream:

  • jvr and el jefe look like a great forward pairing at this level

  • culley smart user going i50

  • plugger mac is twice as big as his oppo

2nd Qt

Pup at feet of pac

Sestan lucky not to get 50 metre against late late shove

Swans goaling against the tide again

Sestan wrestlemania what a tackle!

JEFFO free, goal!!!!!!

Bad miss by Tholstrup after a little bit of flair

he seems to be able to do a lot right but his skills leave a lot to be desired

some dumb frees being given away to the swans to keep them in the contest

Tmac looking decidedly scratchy

Tholstrup went the showman misses

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.
