Was paired in the ruck by dual All Australian Brodie Grundy in an experiment that turned out a failure although it proved handy after Gawn was injured in Round 2. Returned to his very best late in the season when flying solo.

There are not enough superlatives to describe this mammoth of a man.

Massive man crush on Max.

I am with you Demonstrative, man mountain a true leader on and off the field just hope the rest of the team help him achieve the ultimate success at the “G”.

Love him but his kicking for goal has barely improved since he first arrived.

Has learnt nothing about the mechanics of kicking & shanks most of his kicks to the left.

That touch on the line of Olivers goal from 55m out on the boundary could have cost us the premiership. Unfortunately and unfairly i'll remember the great mans season for that.

I doubt we would've beaten Brisbane at the GABBA.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

In my all-time nightmare game, the team is so ill-disciplined that it concedes its first two goals with the courtesy of not one, but two, fifty metre penalties while opening its own scoring with four behinds in a row and losing a talented youngster with good decision-making skills and a lethal left foot kick, subbed off in the first quarter with what looks like a bad knee injury.

  • PREGAME: Geelong

After a one-year reprieve, the Demons return down the freeway to Kardinia Park — the site of both one of our greatest triumphs and one of our darkest days — as they face the Cats under Friday night lights. This one could get ugly. Who comes in, and who comes out?

The Demons barely fired a shot today as they went down to the Gold Coast Suns at the MCG and if the “era” wasn’t already over it is dead and buried now.
