Is there a worse team than the stars collectively? I think they have the worst team in world sport. They have Maxwell and the rest are a joke. Whoever was the brain trust in trading Zampa for Harper must be sacked immediately.

Look lke spooners again to me. As a star supporter it feels a bit like barracking for melbourne under Neeld.

Chris Lynn can hit a long ball ... deep into the 2nd deck, boundary ropes not a factor!

That aged well.

The worst team collectively is the one Zampa went to.

I can't believe the way the Stars are playing. The first game was a shocking team but now they have their players back they are playing great cricket. Happy to be proven wrong.

Has the Big Bash improved at all?

Not really

As one mate said to me a few years ago ... it's our only chance to see any Australian cricketers outside of the Test players

Albeit in a 'Go the tonk' game.  I flick it on occasionally but am quickly bored with it

Billy Connolly said this about cricket years ago (in a mocking style) ...

"Johnny hits it for 6!"

That's t20 and maybe the great Billy Connolly was ahead of his time

Mind you, t20 is exceptionally popular and there's a lot of money in it (especially the IPL)

i.e not going away in a hurry

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
