Nup not accepting it

Fair enough - lets not let facts get in the way of an argument - that's the Demonland way 😁😁

Bennett was wonderful, so were Jakovich, Shwartz, Green, and Jurrah. Neitz and Robbo were not bad either. But I will place 1) Garry Lyon 2)Bayley Fritsch and 3) Jack Watts over most when it comes to kicking. Watts was a beautiful kick for goal.

They should be showing kids that video in school. The most uncomplicated kicking stance and beautiful art.

And if you wanna talk stats then you never seen AJ over a 3 year career.  Crushes Liam. Loved Liam Loved Allen even more but if i was asking for a goal outside 50, or from any angle inside 50, i would say Brad was a chance during a 12 year Career and the closest I've seen to as good a kick as Matty Lloyd. Apologies if you feel I'm bickering.

Actually Jackovich's goal kicking accuracy (not including out on the full) was 54% while Jurrah's was 63%.

It's a regret of mine that I never went to Windy Hill.

As a youngster in the 70's, I stood in front of the grandstand and women who looked my mum would use language that even me and my mates would think too filthy and strong.  I went home dazed and confused. And I was there for the goal.

Not to mention David Cordner and Weidemann last year.

I have a Bombers work colleague who is mad that we fobbed Weid off on Essendon because his hands are as bad as I told him they were.

Are you a masochist?  lol

Worst ground for opp supporters in the VFL. Terrible out of the way place.  Worse even for dees supporters. We rarely won out there.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
