A syndicate consisting of several former Melbourne players have bought a racehorse and called it "Big Jimma" in honour of Jimmy Stynes.

The horse will have its debut this Saturday in the first race on the card at Flemington.  Go you good thing!

In a nod to Jim's Irish heritage and Demon career, the jockey will wear the following colours.

    An interesting list of owners that's for sure including one of my favorites "Balls" and a former president who took over when Jim was no longer able to continue IIRC.

    Good luck to them hopefully they get to the winners room soon.
