He punched a bouncing ball straight over the line. That might make the video for insufficient intent. It’s clear cut.

Its not even a bad play by Gus. We concede possession but have time to set numbers back rather than getting caught on the back flank. It’s not nearly as much of an issue as several of the frees paid. 

I'll concede that there were other options but going at the ball full tilt and then trying to direct a punch in a certain direction when you're about to get cleaned up by an opposition player is a lot more difficult than it looks, I would have thought benefit of the doubt in this scenario. 

When it comes to the option of taking possession, how do they know he wasn't trying to do that? It wasn't like there had been a high ball bouncing around predictably, that Richmond player soccer hacked it and it was pinging around like crazy, Brayshaw did what any good player would.

Anyway it's done now, happy to move on and I'm sure we'll see something similar in the next few weeks not paid deliberate.

They then receive an overall score which determines whether they umpire AFL matches or are demoted to other leagues to improve (where they don’t get paid any where near as much). I would like to see how how the rate interstate games. Some are ridiculous. Watching Adelaide or Weagles umpires will miss so many obvious frees for the away team. I cannot think they could possible come out with a good score for those games.

I don't have an issue with what DutchDemons said and some of the observations brought up were worthwhile ones.

However anyone that tries to tell me the 'correct' way to honour my immediate family's service in WW2 can frankly stick it.

Seen a bit from Richmond fans about their young players but even though they were missing a few, our side was easily younger than theirs (25y 202 days to 26y 129) and less experienced (by 173 games). 
Nank and Broad would have been useful but the presence of Lynch may well have encouraged more high balls into 50 which is usually to our benefit. May generally does well against him. Jack Graham is mediocre. I think the effect of their outs has been overplayed.
