Zanker needs to get into this game

She's very uncharacteristically off her game tonight.

But damn Adelaide's tackling pressure is top notch!

We’re getting a lot of the ball. And their pressure isn’t as effective as it usually is and we’re absorbing it beautifully. I reckon we’ve got this.

GO DEES!!!

We’re +2 Clearances and +7 Contested possessions.  Who cares if we’re losing the tackle count.

West and Gillard are great for second year players.  Fitzsimmon had some important contests in the last 5 minutes.

Two things

Liv Purcell is showing why we got her to the club. probably BOG at half time.

Gillard is bloody tall and coordinated and can kick. In years to come she could be a game changer

I’m hoping my girl Zanks has a better second half.  🤞🏼

If it wasn’t fro their fullback we would be well ahead.

Need someone to take her away from the game, a defensive forward would do.

Was hoping Georgia Campbell would debut tonight, was an emergency, so must be close

Needs better disposal efficiency and decision-making I reckon. Though gives us a great in and under and loves getting the ball.

The same with West.

Agree on both counts

Gillard can mark, use the ball well, great composure and is always in the right position. I think we've found a real player

The Hatchard love-fest is a little annoying. 50th game, yeah. But also Tayla’s 50th!

“The three-headed monster in the Dees midfield” LOVE IT! ❤️💙

Good footy, looking for that central corridor, and getting in 50 marks.

We have to kick goals if we are to benefit from our dominance.

Crows more efficient inside 50 the difference

Daisy and Hanks, good time for a goal, keeps the momentum.

Love the swap of Hore and Hanks, credit to the coach

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.
