Petty must play forward ( if fit )

We score 100 points and still lose, clearly defence lost us the game yet some want to remove our most in-form defender and put him up forward?

Genius... 🥴

IF, we were to try something like this i think it would be Tomlinson, not petty.  Petty is rock solid down back.

if Tomlinson were to play fwd he is also that coverage if we have an injury to Lever/May/Petty.

but to be honest i don't see either as an option,  and i think selection should be based on opposition def if we need to play 2 key fwds and Jackson.  v Freo i think we need the 2 talls

I think its worth a try, in game more than a starting position IMO.

Under the circumstances, and with May returning to solidify the defense, we know what we’ll get from Harrison, and placing him at centre half forward seems the only viable solution at the moment to our underperforming forward line.

Not knocking the idea but i think Petty is just too good a defender so i say leave him where he is

Perhaps try Tomlinson forward  if you absolutely have to, but thats a low probability punt i reckon

We did score 100 points on the weekend with the Weid contributing so maybe its not the talls that are the biggest problem. Forward half pressure is absent at the moment so sorting that out if probably the more pressing issue

It was one of those rare examples of the first team to reach 100 points not winning the game.
