Mayse always looks to me like he’s just come off a 3 day bender.

Right so Gawn is now the longest serving member the current MFC list and Tmac has played the most games (for MFC @192)…. We could really snag a few flags here.

[censored] it feels real now.

The week has dragged, but I woke up this morning with butterflies in the stomach which were around for most of the morning

I have been weirdly calm and confident the last two days, and I do not like it one bit. We are 100% going to lose now.

I thought someone had hacked your account - until I saw the 2nd sentence.

Hibberd is going to make a lot of people in this thread look foolish.

Go Dees!

Not me. Hibbo is very versitile....will he play on Liba to free Harmes to play more forward. Otherwise Hibo can be a shutdown defender and a mid size which is important with 3 tall backs. Both Bowey and Hunt can't play same team, Bowey for me

Pert has given the sub away during his Fox interview.

He said we had 8 players 21 and under in the GF team.  Seven players aged 21 and under have been named in the 22 and Jordon being the sub makes 8.

Hardly a surprise I guess.

Tough on Hunt and others who miss out but what about young Jake Bowey. 6 games into his career, he has cemented his spot in the side and will run out to play in the big one tomorrow. The kid must be pinching himself.

As long as he is doing the pinching not the hamstring

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
