Is Bowey any chance for the RS this year?

Nah. Big chance for a premiership medal though I hear.

He has one of those already 🥱 but two would be great - how about a Norm Smith?  (Would be a first for a HBF).  Then move him forward for 2023 and run for the Coleman.

No point naming someone a 'rising' star if they have two premiership medals around their necks. They are a star already!

Fingers crossed 🤞

Spot on BAMF.  Rising Star award now is more of a retrospective thing given the above re: young Jake.

In the GF he was serious star material already with his cool-headed pass to Brayshaw, outlet work in defence (Lever to Bowey in 3rd 1/4 to slow down game, then correct decsion to May),  ability to fearlessly contest, again in third 1/4,..................................................... 17 disposals,  four  1 percenters (4th highest in the team),.....etc.

Jake's 17-0 is great.

I note that TMac and Jack are both still about 20 losses in the red.  Max is close to evening the ledger. That must fuel hunger.

As I understand it he broke the all time record of consecutive wins from debut which used to be 14 when he reached 15 and I believe he breaks the record tomorrow for the most wins from debut including one player who had 17 but they weren't consecutive when he reaches 18.   Surely that's all the incentive the boys need to get him across the line.

It’s amazing. What a start to his footy career.
