The 3 headed monster

I feel like it's time to try playing all of Brown, Mcdonald and Weideman in the same forward line. Jackson looks cooked and would benefit from having at least a couple of weeks rest and the inclusion of Weideman means he can play that second ruck role as well as be a much more potent option up forward where we are clearly lacking. I think with Mcdonald and Weideman being able to push up the ground provides an outlet kick target and also means there won't be too much crowding inside the forward 50. Weideman or Tmac copping the 3rd best defender would also be a nightmare for defenders deep inside our forward 50.

I would rather have milkshake he is the best kick of our forwards and can get the ball when it hits the ground. Sadly the Weid is an VFL talent.

We really have no other choice; at present, Fritta is our key forward. B, McD and Weed have to be trialled, and some would also rewquest the addition of Daw and JSmith, and the Melk.

All sounds crazy. So many spots can be justified with our performances on record this year. Amongst so many players, surely someone knows a little about forward play, coz the Coach doesn't and this is obviated every week. A collective think-tank approach could be utilised for the benefit of all mankind.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
