just an observation

we measure number of posts but not volume of text in posts

some posters are notorious for humongous walls of text often to just to make a simple point

worse, some manage these walls of text with no punctuation or paragraphs

at least we don't have anymore one particular poster who managed to grossly mix up constant changes of font, font size, colour and other highlighting all in the one sentence

Not to mention posters who refuse to use upper case.

Don’t know how I will feel when someone gives me the vomit emoji…

you forgot the font change ? ........otherwise impressive

can't do font change any more from menu, but you can import it if you can be so bothered

Yeh couldn’t work out how to change the font or colour..

I take offence at your deluded implication that the board is better thanks to the abscence of said poster who righteously deviated from effete, coddled MFC indulgence, the origins of which are surely a by-product of too much time spent among the smug elitists in the Northern Stand.
Don’t you find it curious that now we are on the verge of building a social club, we are also contending for the premiership?

Traditionally Draft Night (and the following day), particularly when we have picks in the Top 10 are our biggest days.

The night of the 2014 draft, traffic was predictably busy when we drafted Petracca at #2 and Brayshaw at #3.  There were still a multitude of posters online when we later took Neal-Bullen at #40 and Stretch (F/S) at #42.

However, the site crashed such was the overwhelming excitement and anticipation when it was announced that our last pick at #53 was spent on .... Oscar McDonald!

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterday’s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown and  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.

  • POSTGAME: Western Bulldogs

The Demons lacked some polish but showed a lot of heart and took it right up to the Bulldogs in an attempt to spoil their finals hopes ultimately going down by a goal at the MCG.
