Lloyd and Cornes are top of the tree when it comes to voices in the footy media I completely tune out.

Karl Langdon completes the trifecta but fortunately we get to avoid most of his nonsense over in the west.

    We are super strong on the inside. On the outside we have Langdon, Tomlinson, vandenBerg, Jones and ANB. 

    Langdon was a second rounder for a reason.T Tomlinsonlooks like a mistake. I love VDB but he is playing that role because we require him to not because he is suited. Likewise Jones. ANB shouldn't get another game.

    If we replaced these guys with two hard running players with decent pace we would balance our list without giving up to much they don't need to be A graders.

    I think most agree we need to balance our midfield, but the simple fact of the matter is you don’t trade a player like Oliver.

    I don’t want to lose Brayshaw but I sense he is frustrated at not getting the opportunity he wants in the middle. I would be if I was him. Let’s hope a performance like tonight reminds potential suitors of his ability in the middle and we are compensated well ie enough to buy/recruit some outside class

    tonight showed how overstocked we are with midfielders. which was a positive with Brayshaw 29 possies and a goal more than stepping up. 

    I think Goodwin needs to change things up and give him more time, let Viney and Oliver go forward as we do have very good back up.

    I like the look of Sparrow now but have to say even the day he was recruited, why ? if he comes good he is yet another tough contested midfielder.

Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
