Just arrived and they're already training ...

Might as well rock up at 9. Seems to be the standard starting time these days, for whatever reason they don't advertise it though.

Rehab: Hannan, Viney, Bennell, Tomlinson, Petty, TMac, Baker

Are they on separate programs within rehab, or all doing the same thing (ie is Tomlinson, Bennell and Baker still just walking)?

Different things.

Tomlinson one on one with a trainer doing handballs and no running.

TMac and Viney doing separate 100 metre or so sprints.

Bennell was doing light jogs for about 50m and back.

Other rehabbers don't look like they're doing much at all.

Tomlinson and Bennell walking laps.

The term "kill the fatted calves" comes to mind.  Calves to the slaughter.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
