Had to make space for Jenkins and Steven. I wouldnt knock him just because the cats dont think heโ€™s worth anything

Yes it does, it's called List Management, they obviously don't think there is any development in him

ย
2016โ€“2019 Geelong 9 games 6 goals

ย

Hardly encouraging stats. Even with Ratagalea out he couldn't get games. There has to better in the state leagues.

Wow what an easy decision to make on such simple criteria.ย I reckon Stephen Wells should be worried about you coming for his job

ย

We have TMac, but with Frost gone I wonder where he'll play.ย

We have Weid, who I have a lot of faith in, but he's young.

We have Tomlinson, who I think could play forward but I understand was brought in to play wing.

After that ... Petty? Preuss? They don't look natural forwards to me.

If we get Wylie as a Rookie or with pick 97, why not? He may surprise. Injuries tend to happen for big blokes over the first few seasonsย (how many games did Gawn play in his first few seasons?)

Plus, the name rocks

Pity. We don't have anyone (do we?) with a zed in their surname. When we had Neitz, Yze, Schwarz, Bizzell we were a team to be reckoned with.

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the โ€˜G. The Demons return to the spotlight for one of our most significant nights on the football calendar, taking on the Tigers in a clash that always carries extra weight given the gravity of occasion of the commemoration of the ANZAC Spirit. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? All the build-up, discussion, and in-game reactions here. Go Dees.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competitionโ€™s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
