Strange that you say that in response to my saying that there is no point in analysing.  Or maybe were you agreeing with me?

No.

By far the best list analyst in media.  Not always right but he's usually very close to it.  Just shut up, listen and learn.

Can’t argue much with that analysis. Club didn’t get out of 1st Gear

Why are we not into Papley? Goal Kicking, where is it coming from?

Wallace was a Demon Supporter growing up btw before he went to Whorethorn, so he isn’t a hater...

Possibly slightly less after Balls got hold of him at the Western oval though SW

Quite possible yes. I was right in front of that sojourn

heard the Bone shattering

Was very unpleasant

I love listening to Terry Wallace. I agree that Tom's last 2 games were like his 2018 form and Wallace didn't mention that. But the rest was spot on to me. Something else i want to get off my chest:

  • I didn't want May for pick 6 when we could get him a year later for free (although he wanted out last year and collingwood likely would've gotten him, so wouldn't have happened - i would've loved Moore or ALir Alir due to their age demographic - now it sounds like Moore could be gettable next year if we played our cards right & if collingwood got May then they would be soo tight on the salary cap..).
  • I said that Melbourne should be courting tom lynch if hogan was going to leave. AKA Hogan out and Lynch plus pick 6 in. Yet no talk of chasing Lynch ever came. Can't help but feel that that was a mistake. AkA get aggressive melbourne and if your going to swap out players for picks make sure we have as good coming back in for cheaper.

Interesting that they reckon around 10 wins next year. Now that we have May and Lever, i really hope to see them up and firing next year.

It is hard to know about this stuff.  We have been into Langdon and Elliott all year, but who knew?  You only hear the ones that get leaked, or are in the mix.  Who said we didnt approach Lynch?  Moore?  Allir ALLir etc?  We could be into 100 players.  We also have to look from a position that if we had most of the players on the park this year, and somewhere near their best, then the list analysis would be different.  We came 17th.  Yep, 17th.  We got the 17th best list in 2019.

Wallace is right.. Why are people getting so worked up when a media personality speaks the truth?

Me too Bin, Wallace is one of very few I actually love listening too. I know Cornes polarises people, but in my opinion him and Wallace on trade radio is the best slot to listen out of all the slots.

Fully agree on Wallace and Cornes DD.  I like the fact that they will admit if they are /were wrong, and have solid opinions - whether liked or not.  Unlike many media fence - sitters - looking at you Nicky Dal.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
