ANB's handball sums up our season perfectly!

It sums up why he shouldn’t keep getting games and yet...

Saints first to ball ALL night.

Riddle me this ....Omac dropped for poor form.

Played poorly at Casey and gets put back in?

We wouldn't beat Gold Coast we are that bad.

Mate, we shouldn’t have beaten Gold Coast when we did. If we hadn’t, it would be an interesting ladder for the prized position of dead bloody last...

Need new captains next year..neither of them step up and take the game on and lead their men. Tired of seeing Jones bottom of the pack and Viney butchering the ball. No presence on field

Great to see us playing to the siren.

As much of a critic of Goodwin as I am, it is clearly obvious that this playing group only like giving effort when times are good, not when there’s an ounce of pressure or when times are bad. The playing groups attitude towards giving a [censored] is disgusting.

Pride in performance and jumper is non-existent. Unacceptable and player’s need to be given what they deserve, tear strips off them. Time for long overdue tough love, those who prosper well and good, those who don’t can rot in the 2’s or can find another club

He’s a lazy, no brain defender. Useless.

True!

But he runs real hard around the ground! Can't forget that! Lucky us, we gave him another year.

Most pathetic football club last 55 years!

Not sure how Goodwin can retain his job, from prelim to last.

Club wants loyalty hey 20yr member for this rubbish ... f u mfc , I’m finally done!

Stop blaming Goodwin. This year is on the players as a whole.  They need a real kick up the [censored]. They need to go home and have a real good hsrd look in the mirror. Not the players on the fringe the core players

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
