Sorry kids 635 Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Nick Riewoldt was one of the best tall forward of his generation. He was also an athlete with great endurance. If I was Goody I would put in a call to Nick and give him a role with Weed and TMac. We have an enormous investment in those two and they both have a lot to learn about getting on their bike and leading to the flanks and wing. We accept both had poor games on the weekend. Imagine them being able to have a chat to Nick today to iron out a few little problems with their game style. Done properly it does not have to be at odds with the forward coaches plans. 5 Quote
Demon Disciple 12,530 Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 I reckon trying to bring him in to MFC would be a great idea , SK. Though i’d rather bring him out of retirement. 1 Quote

Adzman 2,154 Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Roo has a great football mind. It's a shame he seems to be heading down the media path because he could make a great coach. Quote
The Chief 697 Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Yeah good idea. TMac is definitely salvageable with good coaching, but seriously doubt much can be done with Weid, other than offering him to the Pies in the hope Ed goes all misty eyed on the romance story of Grandfather, Dad and son fairytale and pays over the odds. 1 Quote
