Yes but they don't just happen because we say we want a winning culture, it happens because we play the right way as a team. Just wanting it won't make it happen

I have never said just want. I want them to DO IT.

Not next year, i want them to do it over the next 10 weeks.

Jobs are on the line.

We all want them to go out and just do it and win each week, but I've been talking about how we should be setting up to maximise the chance of wins in the long term. For instance should we be playing Jordy Lewis each game because he gives us a better chance of winning than say Lockhart/hore or do we give those guys a run and hope they become very important players for the future. We're not in a position to 'play the kids' because we're a young team anyway but looking at integrating personnel so they play better together for the future should hold a lot of weight.

Would like to hear what his thoughts are of our fitness conditioning coaches , have the injuries been managed correctly , players coming back too soon?  Our preseason disaster ...

good interview.  puts the acid on T Mac to stand up.  Tom is a proud man so hopefully he does something

I really like the reshuffle of the coaches and not waiting until the end of the year to make these changes.

Go Demons, give us something to cheer!

I'm sure he's had the acid put on him before this behind closed doors but it begs the question....

Why is Tom not at Casey?

Hinkley's sent Westoff back to the 2's and he's got a lot more credits than Tom.

Pyke had Jenkins in the SANFL for 5 weeks.

Is Goody too much of a players man? does he need to harden up? does Tom deserve his spot?

Who would you replace him with?

Surely, surely, not Preuss???

Goodwin really does talk a lot of club spin, it’s actually sickening, I’m still not convinced he is a good game day coach, but at least he says nice things. Pressure is on, and you can see that.

Play to win. Pick the best players in form.

Building a winning culture will take care of the future.

If Lewis is in form pick him

Just as well it wasn't up to me 'jumbo'...

I couldn't be happier to see Tommy turn his game around today.

In his own words made mistakes early but then things started working for him...

In my words he got to a lot more balls, was running more and working harder and it finally paid off.

Well done Tommy...well done Goody for putting the acid on him.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
