Then it all makes sense, to me. Fritsch needs a wing and 2-way running to the HFF area; lock in Vince as stated on Shuey, Hannan in deeper fwd role to meet up with Fritsch a little, Smith the Son of a Gun into a clearing defensive flank and assist chop at CHB - maybe even playmaker at spoils on incoming Eagle scheet, Spargo open season all over the fwd half.

That's 2 ins and 1 out if I read you correctly.

Vince in.

Smith to back, in

BF to wing

Dom out

?

Good reasoning, regarding the containment of Shuey but can Vince do that for a full game?

His shoulder wouldn't have prevented him from running and keeping ready. I would include Vince ahead of Tyson just incase we do want to switch up the tag or incase a player goes down. Vince is more versatile than Tyson, and can tag and play down back. It gives us more versatility and better options should a player go down in any position.

If I were Dom Tyson, I would be desperate to get a trade at the end of this year. He will never be anything other than a medium-to-good inside midfielder and we have heaps of that type already — almost all of whom are well in front of him.

I have always said that Dom stays in the side until others go past him. But he is limited to where he can play.

Last year - Jones, Viney ( when he played)  and Oliver were ahead of him. Brayshaw always had more talent but was struggling to get on the park. Harmes was behind him. This year Tyson is 6th in the running brigade.  Harmes and Brayshaw have well and truly leapfrogged him. Even Jones has another string to his bow as he played a bit at half back and sometimes tags. Tyson cant do either.  He cant play half back flank like Lewis or Salem - he can't tag like Harmes, Jones and Viney.

I would think he should /may see the writing on the wall.

@binman - there's a flare up in sector seven.

    The Dogs reigned supreme in 2018 with an inaugural AFLW premiership cup and the Demons matched this feat by winning the cup as the Season 7 2022 champions.Meggs wasn’t born when the Doggies won their first VFL premiership cup against the Demons in 1954. Covid prevented many Demons fans from legally witnessing the victorious 2021 AFL Grand Final cup performance between the Demons and the Bulldogs, but we all grin when remembering those magnificent seven third quarter goals.
