For what it's worth I like the New Orleans Saints again DZ (1-13) although that option isn't up (yet) on Laddies.

History tells us that in week 17 of the NFL the teams that need to win generally do win ... but all the games are divisional match-ups so the games can be close.

I fancy my chances on those 1-13 margin bets.

Cheers mate, TAB has Saints 1-13 at $2.50.

West Bromwich to win and over 2.5 goals against The Boro appeals to me in the morning mate. It’s around $2.15 on TAB.

I'll add in the Packers 1-13

You got another one for a pic4 DZ?

Yep, was just looking at the NBA markets and I’ll throw in Toronto against the Thunder tomorrow at 10am.

Pick your own line market- Raptors -4.5 .

1-13 margin bets still aren't up on Laddies so I took Detroit & Carolina at the line (+12.5 & +13.5)

Good luck DZ and let's hope we get a Christmas dividend up.  You never know!

Been having a bit of luck lately (up until about 2 weeks ago!) with the 4pic multi.  Combination NBA & Baseball but not the Ice Hockey (that's too hard)

Half time/Full time with the hoops & the baseball wins at the line (-1.5)  Usually get about 14-1 up to about 25-1.

The hoops are more difficult to predict but a number of the baseball teams can be somewhat relied upon.  Namely the Dodgers,  Cubs,  Atlanta,  Oakland,  Twins,  White Sox & Rays ... at home with a pitching advantage.

In the Hoops I've noticed that teams will play well at home if their last match was a loss on the road ... the bounce-back.

With the NFL season not providing all that many upsets as opposed to previous seasons,  the NFL multi can be a winner

Home teams winning half-time/full-time is my preferred option.  4 or 5 pick to get the odds up

Tomorrow I like Washington,  Kansas City & Minnesota as stand-outs

North might bring their best in Tassie and we might be slightly off our game

Demons 1-39 is paying $3.25 ... a multi with 3 other legs and 20-1 could be had.  Or a same game multi?

Edited by Macca

I’d be tempted by the $15 if they have the goal kicked in first 2 mins equals payout.

1-39 is risky if we want to be a very good side.

That's where the value is Gorg.  We've been up all season but have started slowly a few times and the ground & conditions might bring the 2 teams closer together (somewhat) It's in Tassie as well and we might not have things our own way

We might see a margin around the 25 - 35 point area.  $1.26 for 40+ doesn't appeal unless there's a value pick elsewhere to boost up the multi odds

I've settled on a same game multi and got about 37-1 all up.  So only need the small outlay to win well

True and the best multis are small legs, with good potential outcomes.

Around this time of year I do a few NFL multi's ... the better teams tend to get it done against teams that are eyeing off the draft (haha)

Had good success 2 or 3 times over the space of 10 years so I'm due again

4 or 5 leg multi max with a saver bet on the 4 or 5 winning (only)

  • PREVIEW: Sydney

The two teams competing at the MCG on Sunday afternoon have each traversed a long and arduous path since their previous encounter on a sweltering March evening in Sydney a season and a half ago. Both experienced periods of success at various times last year. The Demons ran out of steam in midseason while the Swans went on to narrowly miss the ultimate prize in the sport. Now, they find themselves outside of finals contention as the season approaches the halfway mark. The winner this week will remain in contact with the leading pack, while the loser may well find itself on a precipice, staring into the abyss. The current season has presented numerous challenges for most clubs, particularly those positioned in the middle tier. The Essendon experience in suffering a significant 91-point loss to the Bulldogs, just one week after defeating the Swans, may not be typical, but it illustrates the unpredictability of outcomes under the league’s present set up.

  • REPORT: Brisbane

“Max Gawn has been the heart and soul of the Dees for years now, but this recent recovery from a terrible start has been driven by him. He was everywhere again, and with the game in the balance, he took several key marks to keep the ball in the Dees forward half.” - The Monday Knee Jerk Reaction: Round Ten Of course, it wasn’t the efforts of one man that caused this monumental upset, but rather the work of the coach and his assistants and the other 22 players who took the ground, notably the likes of Jake Melksham, Christian Petracca, Clayton Oliver and Kozzie Pickett but Max has been magnificent in taking ownership of his team and its welfare under the fire of a calamitous 0-5 start to the season. On Sunday, he provided the leadership that was needed to face up to the reigning premier and top of the ladder Brisbane Lions on their home turf and to prevail after a slow start, during which the hosts led by as much as 24 points in the second quarter. Titus O’Reily is normally comedic in his descriptions of the football but this time, he was being deadly serious. The Demons have come from a long way back and, although they still sit in the bottom third of the AFL pack, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel as they look to drive home the momentum inspired in the past four or five weeks by Max the Magnificent who was under such great pressure in those dark, early days of the season.

  • CASEY: Southport

The Southport Sharks came to Casey. They saw and they conquered a team with 16 AFL-listed players who, for the most part, wasted their time on the ground and failed to earn their keep. For the first half, the Sharks were kept in the game by the Demons’ poor use of the football, it’s disposal getting worse the closer the team got to its own goal and moreover, it got worse as the game progressed. Make no mistake, Casey was far and away the better team in the first half, it was winning the ruck duels through Tom Campbell’s solid performance but it was the scoreboard that told the story.
