I probably should rephrase that to 'knows how to get himself into position to kick a few goals, even though he misses his fair share.  But he brings more to the side than Hannan does at the moment, so his selection is a good one.

You would have had to have been on something quite trippy to have meant it that way WB ? He does do that pretty well yes.  What a pitty he has no radar for the big ones.  Would be very handy up forward if he did.

Hmm nothing like a little revisionism. He shaped up and landed one fair on the chin. Very poor act from which he did not play again in 2017.

That is bulltish OD. P-man was right..

So D4 you are saying he got lucky and he should keep that act going as he probably won't hit anyone flush like that too often?

No, he did the wrong thing, but with his usual disposal going astray perhaps he was unlucky to flush a punch.

Anyway snipping is bad, and he learnt his lesson!

That's fine. I witnessed it live and saw multiple replays. Bugg is not a sniper. He made a mistake. He has paid for it.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
