That time of year again lads.

7Up time to defend the title...

Are we continuing the tradition & fronting up for our 8th consecutive season.

Scarlett, Melissa, JCB, Poita, Robbo 24, Baconators, Krazy, Goody's Goat, Galah's, Goodvibes, PC 17, Mad Melbourne & anyone else I've missed or is interested .

Who's Keen?

Hey OMR,

I reckon I'd be keen to play this year after sitting out last season. Let me know if there is a spot available! Cheers.

I'm keen to go around again. Let me know if you want me to transfer admin rights, or if you are happy for me to push the buttons.

Have a think about how scoring worked last year, and whether it needs to be changed.

I have recovered to play again, but, prefer you to manage it....if you will take over.Needs some lightning and and some laughs.....good fun, shitstirring etc...

Hey Goodvibes

Hoping  Poita reappears soon & sends out a comp code so we can join & sets the draft up?

Poita are you out there?

  • Author

Wise blood.....

It looks like we have 7 confirmed.

10 should be plenty to get a comp up & I have a mate who's keen to join so that's 8.

Hopefully Poita reappears soon & we get a draft date set & into the 2018 season we go.....

Sorry folks, I have been out of action for the past week. I will try to get the code out in the next day or so.

OMR - disappointed in you......but Poita wS good last year. The crackpot from two years ago contacted via email through Demonland....I reported him.

JCB - What are you disappointed about?

Your real disappointment is coming when I kick your ass 3 times during the season.

Poita - Looking forward the League code landing on the weekend & draft night being set.. When can then check numbers & work out who in & out.

Robbo 24, Bacaonaters, Scarlett & Melissa yet to appear.... Are you out there?

Good Work Poita

Any chance you can change the League name to reflect 2018 not 2017....

JCB, Scarlett, Melissa, Robbo & Baconator's? Where Are You?

Wiseblood have you joined?

Sunday night 18th is good for me.

Is Sunday 11 March a long weekend?

Let's get the numbers sorted, Scoring under control( I'm happy to keep last years version). & Set the draft night.

Looking forward to another big season.

March 18 is best for draft.Poita - very happy you are managing it again, bettter than thatold fart, OMR, best of luck for Year Norm Smith 18...my year ahead.but Luke OMR, overseas for some of it...

Bumping this back up. We have 8 teams in at present. Would like another 4 if possible. If we can't get Demonlanders on board, happy for friends / family to join as a last resort?

As an aside, has anybody had trouble logging in to the site this year? There is a lot of wheel spinning and refreshing required for me to get in.

Hey Poita

No trouble logging in @ my end.

4 Teams needed?

Demonlanders anyone keen to join the comp?

Ultimate Footy - Draft Night, Fantasy Footy, Weekly trading with Other Teams, it's a great challenge.

We need to update the Draft night info to March 18.......

Sorry all, I've been so busy with work and building a new house that Demonland has been a rare occurrence lately.... I'm keen to be involved (for the whole season this time) and also my little Demon is also keen to jump on board...

So there's TWO more for the league - We have signed up!

The draft night is not Wednesday is it?

I'm in Sydney on a work junket until Thursday so won't be in a position to be completing a draft... Next Sunday is a better option yeah?

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
