Mick Warner's story is interesting and a good companion piece to one published in The Age last year. When you realise (from The Age article) how close the then VFL was to a near death experience, the concept of someone proposing the LA Crocodiles as a proposed solution is understandable. I doubt that it would have ever worked, though. 

And  it wont work now. Ridiculous idea.

If they pursued that any further, it would have been another nail in the coffin.

Just as ridiculous as that Sydney Celtics idea.

of course it wouldn't work. blind freddy could tell you there are no crocodiles in LA.
