Oh sorry.. I forgot every VFL/AFL player is a [censored] superstar in your eyes.

You sir are the exact reason why many, including me read and post less and less on Demonland now days.

No idea mate.. but I like Fritsch from Casey. So classy with ball in hand and has that x factor like Hannan.

Yep, tar, wave of talk about this fellah, would have loved to have seen just the semblance of another Flower in action.

So I've watched a lot of VFL football the last 3 years so I feel I can add to this discussion.

Gus is a great VFL player but that's it. I'm not sure how old he is but he isn't young, and unless you had an amazing year at his age like Tim Smith did you won't get picked up.

Even then, there are better players on Caseys list I would pick first. I don't think he's ever made the VFL state team or done well at any of the award nights which is usually a good indication if they can make it to an AFL list.

Like I said, a good VFL player but nothing more.

Got Lok is someone else I hope the Dees are looking at Drunk. Supreme power and speed and has raw talent. His upside is huge!

Thoughts?

Goy impressed me a heap this year. Didn't get a lot a senior games but did well in the ones he played in.

He tore it up in the development league, and was rewarded with winning the development league Best and Fairest last night.

Funny story, somehow no one was told he was going to win it and was actually training at Casey at the time the award was given to him, so the trainers at Casey had to yank him out of the shower, send him home to get changed into a suit and rushed him to Crown to accept the medal.

Anyway, the abolishment of the Dev league might hurt his chances, but hopefully he stays on Caseys list and gets more VFL games next season. I don't think he has shown enough to be drafted just yet, but he has the skills and class to definitely be looked at, and if he plays well next year he might be picked up for the 2019 season.

    CONSISTENCY by The Oracle

"I think we have got a team that can win a premiership, and if we get in this year, I don't think there is a team that is going to want to play us. This year is not a write-off, I don't concede that. Not at all." — Collingwood President Jeff Browne. I love this sort of optimism from the Magpie President after his club’s eleven goal defeat at the hands of the fast rising Hawks. It’s consistent with the fighting spirit of the club that won last year’s flag.  I only wish I could say the s

    FEARS by Whispering Jack

Melbourne’s worst fears about the absence of Max Gawn were realised when it received a shellacking from Fremantle’s ruckmen Sean Darcy and Luke Jackson who dominated the hit out tally in their game at Optus Stadium on Sunday by a massive 47 to 19. As a result, the 50-point deficit at the end of the game proved to be a loss that was long foreseen that was two years in the making and demonstrated a complete lack of hindsight and planning from the club. To add insult to injury, Jackson was a D

    RAIN CHECK by Whispering Jack

The Frankston Dolphins broke a run of six straight losses against their neighbours, the Casey Demons and kept their hopes for a long-awaited return to the VFL finals alive with a 27 point victory over at Kinetic Stadium. Casey was welcomed to the Peninsula by grey skies, heavy rain and angry seas with threatening white-capped waves whipped up by gale force winds. After a slow start in the opening term when they failed to take advantage of the breeze, it appeared that the Demons had decided
