Melburnian of the Year Award to Neale Daniher

Featured Replies

I'm staggered no-one has posted this on here yet.  Extremely deserving recipient of this award is Neale Daniher.  A truly remarkable man who is walking a horrible journey, and doing it with dignity.

Well done, Neale.  And congratulations on the award!

Well done Neal Daniher. A true inspiration. If only the Australian of the year award wasn't so politicised he would be even money for that as well.

What an inspiration! Keep fighting Neale. I reckon there are some years left for this brave man.

We have lost many legends of the club far too early on in the past few years.

3 or 4  heroes who carried the club through terrible challenges at different times.Ive no doubt stress is as bad or worse than smoking as a killer.

I have so much respect for this bloke.

I wish his circumstances were very different.

The world is nastily unfair at times. He deserves a much better trot.

Danners you're an inspiration.

So far he is nominated for Victorian of the Year, so that's a good start. Three's a lot of misunderstanding surrounding how one becomes Australian of the Year, Neale is in the running :)
